Pizza Days — Restaurant in Burlington

My girlfriend & I heard this place was good in a pinch. We had a coupon for $10 off an order of $20, so we gave it a shot. The girl who answered the phone was very nice even though I had to repeat myself a couple of times. I told her about the coupon & she said that if I pay with credit, the driver will hand me a $10 bill at the time of delivery.

The food arrived earlier than expected, but the chaos of having two dogs react to the presence of the driver was enough to make me forget about the $10. (The food was mediocre at best, by the way). When I remembered the next day, I called up to ask that the $10 just be refunded on my card. The man who answered my call would not help me at all. He said that I could just use the coupon next time, but I didn't plan on ordering from here a next time. After arguing with him, he hung up on me.

I called back for his name, but he would not give it to me. I had a copy of the receipt which proves I was owed the money. At this point, I demanded a driver come out to my house to deliver it or I would come there to get it. He hung up again.

On my third call, he placed me on hold foot a long time & then said a driver would be over in twenty minutes with my money. When the driver arrived, I asked foutre the name of the person I had been speaking with. It was the owner... The owner who even after I threatened to report his business to the BBB, refuses to help me even when I has the coupon & receipt in my possession. Worst customer service. Never ordering here again & still considering...

Everytime we order here its turns into a headache.

1. delivery driver complained to me his tip wasn't enough.
2. same delivery driver went to the wrong entrance of our facility, and blamed me for making him wait for more time than he actually waited (he was on camera and i specifically told them he was delivering to the main guardhouse)
3. same delivery driver claims he didnt have enough money to break $10 after pulling out a wad of big bills. This increased his tip and i was told he would owe me the money back.
4. refused to deliver, said they tried the caller personal phone and our office phone which is manned 24/7 (its our base line, like 911 someone HAS to and WILL ALWAYS answer on a weekday). We explained our company has ordered many times in the past but they claimed they have never delivered to our location. They refused to have the driver "come back".

Needless to say we're done with them. There food isn't spectacular, its the only place open late, but its not worth their...

I've ordered from pizza days before, just yesterday I ordered a pizza, some fries and 2 drinks. I'm making it clear I ordered 2 and a half hours before closing. By the time the food got here it was 11pm, which isn't a problem. The problem is the delivery driver kept slamming on the door and ringing the bell despite asking for contactless delivery. On top of that he forgot out drinks, when we realized he forgot our drinks we called the store..... 6 times. Every time we called they would answer the phone and hang up. We tried on 2 different phones. So we went to the store to pick the drinks up since we only live like 5 minutes away, it wasn't even busy they were already cleaned up and ready to leave... it was only 11:10. There is no excuse for the phone incident to have happened. Foods fine, they just have staff who don't want to work. Honestly there's plenty of other pizza shops you can go to.
