6.99 for their lunch buffet? Friend still thought he owed me? Roasted whole duck that apparently has a following? Let's eat.

While eating from a basic buffet line I checked out the menu for the possible "weird" things. Nothing. Everything here you could get elsewhere. Even the chairs/tables I swear must be online at a warehouse exclusively for Chinese restaurants. Only service qualm was not offered any other drinks other than water.

Duck time. As told from my friend showing me yelp and how his parents talked it up we bought one and split it. He threw me the head and his bag of sauce. Reading some past reviews people were complaining over the price, or my favorite one was not getting some sort of complimentary rice with it. Oh I laughed at that one. Here's the thing... I want these people to go find me a whole duck (cleaned) for under 22$. IF you somehow found that congratulations! Now follow an online "authentic recipe" (average 1 1/2 hours), cut it up like they do and serve with rice or whatever. 22$ sounds not too bad now doesn't it?

I digress for flavor time. The skin wasn't crispy, the bird was quiet lean so most of the meat comes from the top breast area and I did pick out lots of little bits of bone throughout the whole eating experience. Meat itself was moist and I behaved like an animal while eating the bird, dunking it into the fatty tangy side sauce and letting it drip off my mouth. Tasty? Sure. Worth a following and going there JUST to get the duck? Not sure, would say right now, no, but then again I need more research into this matter and will eat more...

I Have heard great things about this restaurant however I had some work done on my wife's Jeep at the Dealer next door. I went there to eat as it was around dinner time and I ordered a very common meal. General's Chicken and white rice. The sauce for the chicken was so bad I left all of my food I took 2 bites just to make sure I was tasting it right. Super salty super gross it tasted nothing like Generals chicken is supposed to taste. It tasted like the sauce sat in for weeks and they added more salt daily to keep it from spoiling.

I told the waitress about my experience and she didn't have much to say other than nobody else mentioned anything. I left our conversation at that as I didn't want to offend any more than I...

The only reason why I gave two stars because they do have pretty tasty ducks. The person took my order, literally talking as if she was yelling at me, as she angry from her past life, and act like she doesn’t want me to buy it from them. Even asking for my name to put on the order. WTH. Appeared they don’t know what “customer service “ meant, but at least be civil. No one there to rob your inheritance, so be nice.

The place is dirty, for those that posted a positive review, appeared they have a very low expectation of standard of service, and dirtiness, rudeness were a “ok things” for them. I would only recommend this restaurant to my enemies, but not my coworkers, not to mention friends...
