Food all over the parking lot should have been the first warning sign. Especially because it wasn't even food available at this particular restaurant. Went in, looked over the menu, made my decision along with my other two guests. Went to pick a seat, looked at my receipt and noticed the girl had not put my sandwich on the order. (Even though both my table mates had heard me make the order.) Went to the counter, and showed the girl. She apologized and rang me up for the sandwich, them walked away from the register entirely. Had trouble with the chip reader. Stood there for a total of about 5 mins. Just asked the next person in line to tell her I had changed my mind and didn't want it anymore. Shortly after our food was up. She apologized for the wait, and trells me she upgraded the size of the fries and told us they were "fresh." Took the food to our table...first French fry I grab is cold. Grab one from my friend's container...his are hot. So I take mine back up to the counter. The girl is waiting on a different customer. I wait again. She finishes with him and sees me and asks if I need new fries. I told her, "Yes please. These are stone cold." Turns around with my box of fries and pitches them in the trash. Brings me a new box. I tell her, "Thank you." No response. She just walls away from me. Spent almost $20 on food. They forget the majority of my order. Give me cold food. And just a hint of attitude. Then I start to notice the massive amounts of food and trash all over the floors while I'm waiting for my companions to finish their dinners. High chair left in the walk way. Dirty floors and tables...hell the bathroom was the cleanest place I'd seen...would have been better off eating my meal in there I guess. One girl came out to "clean." I arrived and checked in and had to wait approximately ten minutes for them to bring out my food. A teenage girl brought it out, very unenthused, and stuck her hand out to hand me the food looking as if I was inconveniencing her. I went home and passed the food out. Immediately noticed was that the nuggets were thrown into the bag and the fries were cold. Upon eating a fry, it had a gritty texture and the fries were examined. There was hair and dirt all over them. It looked as if they had been dropped on the floor and then put into the container. I called immediately and they said to come back. We drove back, had to wait at the drive thru window for about two minutes before anyone came up, and when someone did, it was the same teenage girl with a annoyed grin on her face. On her way to the window, you could tell she was talking trash to her co-worker. My husband handed the food back and requested a refund. She closed the window, began talking trash to her co-worker again, and they threw the bag of food around on the counter. They had to wait for the manager to come out of the restroom to be able to give a refund, all the while she continued running her mouth to her co-worker. The manager gave us a refund, and upon us beginning to drive off, you could hear the teenage girl yelling something that was inaudible. We will not be ordering anything from here again, and McDonald's needs to get rid of that mouthy child. Read moreThe biggest issue facing this Company at their Butler location is the wait time. You can expect to wait longer than you should for most items on the menu. The notion that it is fast food couldn't be more incorrect!
However, this does generally mean that whatever you are waiting on is going to be fresh. Service is usually exceptional or better than average and the staff is typically more than willing to correct any mistakes they make.
The food is what one would expect.
*UPDATE 3/2/20 - I recently changed my review of this location due to the overall poor service and experience that I regularly have if I decide to buy anything here. The crew seems to have the worst attitude and it's evident in everything they do.
It leaves one feeling rather uncomfortable and uneasy when they stop here as the employees almost make you feel guilty about buying food. Hardly anyone seems to even attempt to put a smile on their face let alone brighten one's day with a decent experience. The Managers can hardly bother to turn on the parking lot lights at night and most days of the week they remain off.
The people who work here just don't care about their job and since that job is serving food to the public, it honestly leaves me slightly concerned personally and reluctant to do business...
