Taco Bell — Restaurant in Butner

I’ll start off by saying that Taco Bell is always a treat for us as we don’t eat fast food very often. We were on a road trip from NC to DC and decided to get something right off the highway to not waste time. We placed a mobile app order and we all got the usual, Crunchwrap, steak quesadilla, chulpa, cheesy potatoes and a bean burrito- all classics to be safe and bc it’s always a risk trying anything new. My husband went inside to pick the order up and said he didn’t have faith in the food as the “B team” was working- not friendly and looked as if they didn’t even want to be working that day. And boy was he correct. Worst steak quesadilla I’ve ever had, gross- they did not even bother cutting it 😳 the bean burrito for one kiddo was so overcooked the beans and cheese was one hard lump. The crunch wrap for the other kiddo was so soggy they cried bc it fell apart everywhere in the car (can’t wait to have to clean this up!!). The chulpa was so understuffed that it literally looked like there was nothing inside of it. The cheesy potatoes were the only thing really edible. If it wasn’t for us traveling , I would have turned around and ask them to make my food all over again. I don’t usually write bad reviews but this was such a disgrace to the normally awesome food from Taco Bell that I felt obligated to write. Absolutely awful. Sent hubby with our family’s order to pick up dinner and the person at the counter said they couldn’t take our order and he had to order on the app? (BS, there were plenty of people placing orders at the counter, and I guess the people who work here don’t know that the KFC orders for this location CAN NOT be placed on the app, so the kids had to get tacos when they wanted KFC - the entire reason he came to this location.) So, he places the taco order on the app. While doing that, he witnesses a couple have to tell the workers that their food was sitting ready. Witnesses another woman have to come back in, not once, but twice, because her order was wrong. My hubby finally gets our order, gets home, and 2 items are missing, 1 burrito is wrong, and there’s little to no meat or sour cream on the Crunchwrap. Never, ever again... and those were the exact words of several others ordering at this...

Bad, bad, bad. We came in and there were people lined up waiting for food. I wanted to leave but the rest of the family was already set for what they wanted to order. It took a while for someone to even take our order then a while for the food and we were missing a couple things. Poor girl running around like crazy doing everything. There were at least 4 other people there but I think they were all new or just didn't know what they were doing. The girl was doing her best packing all the orders, running back and forth between both registers showing them how to enter the orders, going in back and making food. I felt sorry for her, not her fault just apparently TERRIBLE management. Strange thing is, we have one of these combo KFC/ Taco Bells at home in Georgia and it's just as bad. I don't think I'll ever come back to one of...
