Hello to the Business Owners, Local Managers, and Regional Managers of the BurgerKing restaurant here in Canon City I am a medical Provider and have a good sense of how the way anyone, esspecially heathcare, has changed how they are meeting the needs of their patients. With our focusing on meeting our customers needs, we are often short staffed, overtired (exhausted really), and it may not seem important to lots of people out there but, to me, being able to stop for hot, delicious food, delivered to me after a very short wait (I am sure mine today was less that 4 minutes from order to hot food in my hands), by a very pleasant counter cashier who asked if he could get anything else for me is a bright light at the end of a tunnel of a serious sense of impending disaster. I am exhausted today, worried about COVID, my family, my grandchildren, and as typical for Nurses and Nurse Oractitioners, we often are so busy we don't have time to eat when we have so many folks who depend on us to give them the proper care we know they deserve. Several of us on staff at the clinic today wouldn't have eaten anything all day if another co-worker, one who knows how hectic it gets, hadn't brought in a bunch of breakfast sandwhiches early this morning. By the time I got out a little past the end of my shift, I was really very hungry, angry, and tired. The lines at the drive thru were 5 cars deep. I was driving an oversized vehicle so couldn't fit under the canopy for drive thru so I went to the front door of the Burger King restaurant which was locked. I had not taken a full step away when the Manager came to the door, made sure I was wearing a mask, and allowed me to enter the lobby to give my order. As we entered, she told me that she had become short staffed suddenly and didnt want have to make anyone wait too long so thought she should close the lobby. I told her how grateful I was that she let me in since my oversized camper would not fit under the drive-thru awnings. She said "I am constantly assessing the customer load and adjusting team roles to get all our customers what they need the way they want it." Not only did I get my food order done right, it came quickly and was just perfect. I think they should get some kudos for working their team so well, Thank you and the best thing I can think of to say, the ultimate compliment is to say ........I will definitely be back!!!!! Thank you to all the people who were part of the Team this...
Read moreI had a very long afternoon and was on my way home after a long walk from work. The lobby was closed and I needed a cup of water because it was hot out. I walked up to the drive-thru window and politely asked fill my cup up with water please she said no per their policy they're not allowed to exchange anything from the window like my cup. So I politely ask again so you're not allowed to give me water? She said she was not going to give me water because that is how they keep the homeless away. I know it's hot outside and I looked at her I said I am not homeless she smiled and she said have a good evening. I will not be coming back to that Burger King if you ask me that was beyond rude call me homeless and I could have been dying from thirst and she would not help me. Her attitude was disgusting and I cannot believe the way she talked to me being a worker and customer service. This needs to change I'm a functioning member of society a functioning member of community and I told her that thank you for helping your community ma'am. I am disgusted and I'm not looking for anything no retribution nothing. I just do not understand how disgusting this lady was just now Burger King you should remind your employees that it is the people in the community that keep Burger King in business. She was just lazy and couldn't take 10 seconds to fill a cup up with water to help someone who was thirsty. I'm offended and disgusted I'm very disrespected. I hope she comes to my job and needs a cup of water because I would...
Read moreJust absolutely disgusting service. Not to mention that they are ALWAYS out of something or other, today was especially gross.
I ordered the chicken wrap meal in the drive thru. Paid at the first window. Got to the 2nd window and was asked rudely “what do you want ? We’re out of tea” Ok Bottled water? Sure
Then was asked to park in the handicap space around the building because they had to wait on my chicken.
Ok Sure
Waiting 10 minutes!! Went inside with my receipt to get my food. My lunch break is running out! The manager Lisa told me that my receipt is for a whopper and small fry so that is what I will get. I explained that is not what I ordered. She was so rude and so curt and told me that they don’t do refunds and that I should have told her the food on my receipt was wrong.
What?!!! Can’t I just get my food ? Or my Money back? I have to eat red meat when I never do?? What?!!!
So I called the number on my receipt. Got Lisa again. I explained what happened and she told me she was not giving me my refund. And then HUNG UP ON ME!!!
Lisa - you are a terrible example to your team. You obviously don’t realize how much I like your team and deal with your lack of product because IM WORKING A BLOCK AWAY AND THERE EVERY DAY!!!
Never again Lisa And telling everyone to not visit your restaurant.
