Travel Inn — Hotel in Four Corners States

I'm a big traveler. As in, 200+ flights to 30+ countries. I've stayed in 5-star digs in the Middle East, and rural homestays in China and Nepal. And even with all of this global experience, the Travel Inn is still a 10 out of 10 in my book.

Perfect location for anyone headed down to Cañon City, and refreshingly quiet at night. Ultra-clean rooms with spotless bedsheets and blankets. Provided everything my partner and I needed for a romantic Valentine's Day getaway.

A bit chilly at night -- but come on, you're in Colorado. If you're like me and get cold easily, you'll be fine cranking the heat (which we did) and getting comfy in warm loungewear.

Lovely staff -- and don't forget to get your morning coffee from Jump Start Java across the street! You could drive there, but it's honestly so close that you could walk.

(Seriously, please go to Jump Start Java, they're losing lots of money from the local road construction and could use your support. Great burritos, too!)

When looking on line, you’re not really sure the pictures they post are even current. I have been through that| We drove by this motel the night before we were booked to stay there and it looked kind of unassuming as we drove by on our way back to the hotel we were staying at in manitou springs, that cost more and didn’t compare to this one (travelers inn)| We checked in tonight, very pleasant reception and he was able to provide us with some good information about our upcoming events| This motel has been remodeled. Inside and out. They did a great job. Rooms are spacious and super clean. I feel comfortable in this room. | Bathroom is en-suite and nice. New fixtures, tiles and floor. Even a good quality toilet paper, soaps and shampoos. | We were very pleasantly surprised with the size and level of cleanliness. | Save some money over the competition and check into this sometimes overlooked gem. Wish we would have been in a room this nice the last two night| Well...

It was our first time EVER visiting your location. Please don't try and make it seem as if I was in the wrong. My family and I were just simply passing through and needed a place to stay instead of setting up our RTT. Your staff closed the office down 30-40 mins prior to the time it stats online. While speaking on the phone everything was fine and notified staff we were on the way, if there was an issue why not be professional and call back to explain the issue or even wait until we get there. Calling someone unruly which you spelled wrong if quite offensive but your allowed to speak as you please. Others may have a great time there and I'm happy for them but my experience is my experience. Can't get evicted from a hotel, trespassed yes and if that was the case then calling the police would have been the better option than closing up shop. No harm done. God bless your establishment but I'd never return. Unprofessional. Even a gold brick of manure shines on...
