FYI: Avoid being served by Amanda. — Went two days in a row because the first experience was very nice, I went in the evening so there wasn’t a view so I came back the next day for lunch and was enjoying my time there UNTIL I simply asked my waitress if the coffee I ordered was being made or not, because I was waiting for it for a bit while, I understand she may be busy with other tables but I was simply ASKING, she said she will check if it was done or not and I said to her (before she went to check) that if for any reason it wasn’t done yet then I didn’t want it anymore, my reason (that I never told her because thats none of her business) being because food was probably gonna come out at the same time as the coffee and I didn’t want that, but before she could even check if it was done or not, because of me asking her to cancel it if it wasn’t done, she gave me this nasty face and said “ok pues sepa que me lo van a cobrar a mi” first of all that illegal since it’s something that can simply be voided IF IT WAS NOT MADE. After she said that she ran off to check, and said that its almost done, I approached her where she was, and she was STARTING to make the coffee (so she could’ve voided that crap coffee she made). Amanda, you are in the wrong line of business, you don’t tell your clients you’re gonna be charged for a coffee if hasn’t been made yet. You’re simply uneducated and clearly lack of professionalism. Choose a different job because you are super rude as a waitress and I feel sorry for you if you let yourself get charged for something that hasn’t been prepared. Shame on your employer for charging employees for something that can be VOIDED. Also she forgot the coca cola I asked for with my dinner. Can you imagine her attitude if I told her she forgot to ring it up and give it to me? What if she had ringed it and gave it to me with my check at the end… instead of voiding it — just so she wouldn’t get charged for it? 😂 that sounds ridiculous right? just like that made up rule. Still tipped her well over 30% tip even tho she treated me like I was her highschool nemesis or something ☠️ Grow up Amanda. — Great food tho, recommend the Biftec Encebollado with mamposteao’. Couldn’t get enough of it. 😍 also the servers during the evening are super humble and sweet and gave me a great experience. I wish I could’ve remembered the good server’s name. A shame I remember the ugly one because I had to make sure someone else doesn’t go thru what I did...

This was our first time at this establishment. Unfortunately, it's our last. The view is great but we can see the water from other locations. We stood behind a host station waiting for one of the waitresses to acknowledge us but it never happened so we moved towards the dining area and waited behind a chain to keep people out. We were eventually acknowledged by an older woman who was visually bothered. I won't go into the exchange about the seating because I want to be fair. Our request for a specific table that was empty was denied due to "the server of said station was leaving and the table was already cleaned". Anyway we sat at our table and the older woman plops the menus down and walks over to the counter and said something to one of the waitresses who looked directly at us then smiled. It looks as if the agreement was made that we get an inexperienced server and perhaps they assumed we were terrible tippers but little will they learn I actually have tipped cashier's on multiple occasions when I am provided great service. Sometimes just doing your job is rewarding. Long story short we ordered our drinks and 3 appetizers. Our drinks and food were delivered and we did not get any additional attention until we flagged down the waitress and ask for a to go box and the check. Now the older white couple at the table next to us was visited 3 times but not us we had to stop another waitress to ask a question. This younger waitress asked if we wanted more drink's. Since she was young I cut her a break by saying I finished my drink a long time ago and now is just too late. No apology was given in fact silence until she noticed the tip line was blank. She didn't have time to serve us but wasted no time soliciting a tip. Well we gave them something to talk about $3. I have coworkers coming to PR in March. This will not make my list of recommendations. I am too embarrassed to mention to them that a stray dog was just roaming the restaurant going from table to table. I have never in my life seen...

The WORST service I have ever experienced. Me and my family of 9 people came to this place during our vacation visiting family in PR but some of our group are tourists so we were expecting to have a good time for them and experience good treatment but that was not the case. I picked this place because I only saw the amount of reviews but didn't read them (my mistake, I wish I would have before coming here). We went around 8pm & the service felt rushed at the beginning. Our drinks came out first , we ordered our food and then waited a whole HOUR for them start getting some plates out, by this time our drinks were done or watery and they never came during the entire hour to ask how we were doing or anything. By the time our food started to come out it was when they were all busy cleaning, moping for closing because they actually close at 9PM NOT 2am. We got some plates fist & others 15 minutes later. By the time most of us were done eating that's when the last 2 plates came out. We expressed our concerns and bad experience while the waitress was cleaning up our table at the end and she made NO comment and walked away. Our check included a whole 15% tip that they did not work for or deserve. At the end we brought it up to a different person who seemed to be a manager and she did not say anything either and just gave us instructions to find the exit. As a puertorican and having people in our group on vacation that are not from here just to pick this place for what was supposed to be a nice night out dinner and end up experiencing this was so embarrassing. They need to do better, I would never come back or recommend this...

Stay away from here. Looks nice, awesome location but the food and service is terrible. I got the seafood soup, it was all oily no salt or any flavor, tastes like water down tomato soup. Guacamole is a spread bought from walmart, not made from scratch. People if you are going to pay for these prices you want authentic PuertoRican food. The mofongo made with butter no garlic or any flavor, the Piña Colada made from a sugarly mix not made with original juices, and the bugs wanted to get in it. There's a lot of bugs, flys ect. Most restaurant have some neon light for that. THE MUSIC, I LOVE ENGLISH CHRISTMAS MUSIC BUT IF IM ON VACATION I WANT TO LISEN TO SPANISH TROPICAL OR TRADITIONAL MUSIC. Hey I'm on Vacation in PuertoRico. I WAS ANNOYED WITH "THE ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU" WHILE LOOKING AT THE SUNSET. The waiter lied and said she will change it and turned it off until I placed my order and then put it back on. I asked why she didn't change it and she said HEY YOU NOT THE ONLY CUSTOMER HERE. But I told her there is no American people here. She walked away before I can finish talking. Super rude. Told the owner about the food and she got mad and took all my dishes away and said even though you ate some of this food I will not charge you. And walked away mad because I told her and she knew her cook sucks. The best thing I had in this place was coffee. She should make it a coffee shop. Such nice location for food to be so awful. Hey have a coffee and take pictures but do not bother with the food.

Title: A Hidden Gem in Puerto Rico! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Annie’s Place, and I can confidently say it was one of the highlights of my trip to Puerto Rico! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The menu features a delightful array of local dishes, and I couldn’t resist trying the mofongo with shrimp. It was absolutely delicious! The shrimp were perfectly cooked, and the mofongo had just the right amount of garlic and seasoning. My partner ordered the grilled fish special, which was fresh and flavorful—definitely a must-try! What really stood out was the exceptional service. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. It felt like they genuinely cared about our experience. To top it all off, we enjoyed a refreshing piña colada that was the perfect complement to our meal. The ambiance was charming, with local artwork adorning the walls and soft music playing in the background. If you’re looking for a place that offers fantastic food and a welcoming vibe, I highly recommend Annie’s Place. I can’t wait to return on my next visit to Puerto Rico!

We were advised you can't visit Puerto Rico without visiting Annies. Granted it has an excellent location and Scenic setting. The menu is unique and varied, many excellent dishes. A little on the expensive side but not overly. So why did I give it only two stars? The employees were rude, we had five members in our group and they would not allow us to come in until I had a table that would accommodate 5 even though they had numerous smaller tables that could seat four and we could slide a seat over. I can understand their policy but not the way we were treated. We asked if we could sit at bar and order drinks while we waited and they flatly told us no. I can only assume that they get all the business they can handle and have no necessity to treat people nice. However I could deal with that if the food was served to us Worthy of the steep price. The calamari was the only highlight. The vegetables were stone cold, Grouper and Salmon cool. My friends asked for their dishes to be warmed up, only to get them still cool. We complained to Management and got very cool response and no respect. I spent over $200 plus $40 tip. We will never dine there again. Too many truly great dining establishments to be treated such as this.
