Buena Vibras, more like Malas Vibras:( 42min, that's how long it took for my family to get our food. It was a big order of 9 people, but while we where sipping our drinks and waiting not one employee asked if we needed something. It started getting dark, and of course we started to worry is they forgot about our table. I asked an employee how long it would because we had been waiting for our food and it was already dark out. Soon after the owner comes to tell us ask us if anything was wrong. My mom has said she was a little disappointed on the wait and customer service in a very polite manner, but the owner did not get the memo. The owner went back to the desk to show us our recite time in our order make clear that we did not wait for the food to long. She was very rude saying she wanted to be "fair to her employees and fair to the client... I'm the owner of the place by the way" (Owner of Buenas Vibras). Ok lady sure, say whatever pleases you most, but it's 9 peoples opinions against your own. Her body language said it all, and her smile was just not it. For being the owner of the restaurant for what she informed us was 13yrs or so, the food was mid and her attitude was surprisingly gruesome. Had high hopes for a place like this, but it nothing special and isn't worth it. If you want to eat good food and spend have a good time with family and friends don't come here. You will leave with a major frowny face and instead of a "I bett y'all will be happy once you eat the food" (owner of Buena Vibras).

Edit: It might have been 42 minutes when entered inside the system, but was probably a few minutes more when when the waiter wrote them down on his notes. The fact you are on an ongoing argument on your customers reviews is very unprofessional and you should just take it in...

We were a party of 4. A larger party came in about 15 minutes after us. The received their food before us and it all came out at the same time. We ordered 1 steak (the claim to be a steakhouse) medium (pink in the middle I was specific)2nd steak medium rare. We got our first meal (medium steak) 1st and it was super well done. 15 minutes later we got the second steak ordered medium rare and that too was cooked well done. I sent my daughters steak back waitress took it and very roughly threw it in the garbage. I told her I did not want to replace my steak again she took mine and roughly threw it in the trash. 5 minutes later we received another meal. Shrimp stuffed avocado with a “cilantro sauce” it was more like a tasteless Alfredo sauce and the shrimp were undercooked and still translucent. Another meal not eaten. Another five minutes later we received our last meal. Salmon. I had walked away from the table and when I came back was surprised to see that my daughter had eaten that meal I asked if it was good she said no not really but I didn’t want to waste it. By this time my first daughters replacement charrasco steak came back RAW!!. She did not eat it. At this point I have lost my patience and just want to pay the check, leave and go eat dinner elsewhere. To my surprise they only removed my meal. I paid for 2 uneaten and other than the 1 bite one of my daughters had of the shrimp and the cutting Into the steak and seeing it was raw the food was untouched. I paid almost $80 and left hungry. I do not recommend this restaurant at all. We stayed 3 days and this was the only time I ate (I mean ordered food from there) I mentioned it to the owners and her response was well we have good reviews and no one told me anything went wrong. So I guess...

I'm not sure why people said the food is microwaved. As someone who's eaten all over the island my whole life and has grown up on this food, this place does not microwave their food, lol. Also, someone mentioned that people were rude because they threw their hands up. I'm wondering if this was a language barrier and/or we misunderstood body language. It's super typical to talk with your hands, and I could see them setting food down and putting hands up in a "anything else" type of gesture. I'm so confused by people. We sprayed bug spray, but the evening outdoor eating doesn't bother us since it's way hotter where we're from. Come later if you can't do that. Call ahead for wait times and to verify they're open. What to order: any natural juices (delicious anywhere, not just this place), piononos, tostones trufados, Cayo Blanco plate, rice and bean (which I realize is hard to mess up, but you always need a good side of rice and beans no matter what you're eating, and whatever your heart desires, but especially those. The vibes are certainly good. We waited some days more than others, but we went 3/3 nights we stayed in Lajas, and any wait we had was worth it. The last night we went, they were actually closed and still accommodated us. We never had any rude waitstaff, the food was on point, and the ambiance is . If you have any concerns, just find an employee, and any one of them will help. *ask for their...

Unfortunately it feels as if we fell into a tourist trap. Everything felt a little “mid” and pretty gimmicky. We had a fantastic 5 star meal in Ponce for less money with much better dish preparation last night so it was a stark contrast.. It felt like diner quality preparation and non enthusiastic/inattentive service with a pretty full looking staff and 15-20% capacity at the restaurant.. we made eye contact multiple times. They also switched waitresses three times and no one introduced themselves.. it was just weird and impersonal and we were in the middle of the restaurant so it was a strange to be overlooked like that. The fish was… ok.. the crusted grouper they ran out of coconut coating and it was very under seasoned. I think between the three of us, we used 2-3 limes squeezed on our meals to make them flavorful. If you’re eating here, I recommend the seafood salad stuffed avocado… I would steer you away from the churasco… the guava sauce was sickly sweet and did not feel fresh or have any acidity. It should’ve been dry rubbed, seared, and then drizzled in sauce… it was stewed in what felt like high fructose corn syrup and reminded me of school lunch 😞 The vegetables side was swimming in water and butter and so soggy.. I poured off about 2/3 cup of water into a free bowl. I will give them props for the music selection, got some good Tribal Seeds and Matisyahu playing

What a charming spot, they have plenty parking considering their location. This is off the beaten path about a couple of hours away from the main tourist area San Juan. To come here you will probably need an overnight plan so you do not waste 4 hours driving here and back for a meal. We spent some time at this side of the island so ye we tried it. The only reason why I gave them 4 stars is that their drinks are not super great. COCONUT MOJITO- It was not super great drink, it was sour, seemed to have been added a lot of lime into it I could nearly drink it. CHEESE BALLS- OMG these are the best cheese balls I have had in my entire life, if you come to this place this appetizer is a must! SURF AND TURF MOFONGO- amazing as well, this is a great dish and has a super tasty sauce this mofongo is to die for!!!! The service was pretty great too! the waiter was attentive and brought everything to our table in a amazing time, we never had to look for him. The funny thing though is that when you need to pay your bill, you go to a window to pay it, just leave the tip at the table and go pay the bill, the wait staff does not do the charging they just present the bill. Do me and yourself a favor and come here try to cheese balls and the mofongo! u will not regret it.
