I'm not the kind of person who likes to criticize places that I visit because I'm customer service as well, but Mi Tierra Hotel and Restaurant is one of the worst places to visit, the lady who attend the administration, she is excellent, but the owners are not customer service, and nor kind neither. The air condition had the filter dirty and was not cooling, I asked the owner if he was going to give us credit due to we sleeping uncomfortable the first night; his answer was: "Let me see and sent one of the employers from the kitchen to bring us an additional 10% discount coupon for any food and the Restaurant does not open until 2pm, so that means you have to go and eat out of the place for breakfast and lunch. No microwave in the room, and they promised one since the reservation. Where are the people going to heat the milk for the coffee!? One of the reasons is that they fill the hotels more than the reviews, which is more than real when the same owners or administrators public good reviews by themselves, but is not the true opinion of the guests. They used to write reviews to obtain popularity, but when you visit, it is empty due to the bad service they bring. That was our experience. The second night, it was an outage at the hotel, and the generator...
Read moreStayed at this hotel for two nights. It has a pool which was clean and close to a medium size. Very very clean room, as you come into the room it smell clean. Room not that big but good enough. Bed was comfortable. Recommended for weekend stay. ||We didn’t tried the restaurant next to the hotel, but as you exit the hotel, make a right and you find plenty of places for dinner, brunch, drinks, etc.||The hotel has a small parking. If you ha e a big truck it may be difficult to maneuver and park. If your parking is in the side were the restaurant is, then, expect to have a bit of traffic in and out during the weekend.||I’m not sure of this is normal. But Saturday night there was some kind of small band singing covers . Good songs that made you want to sit, drink or eat something, and listen to the live music.||We didn’t used the hotel pool as we had tickets for a water park about 30 minutes from the hotel. There is plenty to do around. Check here in TripAdvisor for things to do in Cabo Rojo, San German, Mayaguez, Añasco, Rincon, and Aguadilla. Depending on destination and traffic the longest trip will be...
Read moreThis hotel had good service, it’s a nice, clean location and staff was friendly. The hall way to the room was narrow, room we stayed in was small and so was the bathroom. The beds looked clean but the sheets had a musky smell and the shower was dirty. The shower head was old that the water couldn’t come out. Pool was decent but the pool bottom felt slimy, there is a nasty sewerage smell coming from the back. I would encourage for management to check for bed bugs. My son woke up with 3 bug bites the...
