Rex Cream — Restaurant in Cabo Rojo

Unfortunately, these are not the ice creams I grew up eating in Cabo Rojo. It's truly disappointing. The piña colada flavor didn’t taste like piña colada at all, and although the pineapple flavor had a more natural taste, it still wasn't the same one I remember. Even the texture of the ice cream felt different. I left feeling very sad because the ice cream I grew up loving just isn’t the same anymore. That said, the service was excellent...nothing negative...

The staff is always friendly the ice cream is incredibly delicious. This is a place our family comes to every time we're in town. Our great-grandfather's statue is right around the corner which is a landmark in the town of Cabo Rojo. The statue is Salvador Abrau Asencio. So do visit the Town Square after enjoying some delicious ice...

We came to this ice cream location for the first time. We usually go to Kings Cream. There were so many more flavors to choose from and the ladies were very helpful and nice. They also have the option of getting the ice cream on a waffle come which was great. Definitely will come back whenever we are in the area. Try the...
