Salvatore Bistro — Restaurant in Cabo Rojo

We were looking for a local place to eat in Cabo Rojo. After a quick search on Google Maps, we decided to try Salvatore Bistro.

What a great decision! We were greeted by the bartender and the waitress as soon as we entered. As always, we asked for the house specialties. Almojabanas with the homemade papaya sauce, she said. Score! They were delicious!

I ordered arroz mamposteao with ribs and she ordered risoto with grilled salmon. She is vegetarian and they several options for her. Let me tell you, the Chef is great. The service was very good as well as the plate presentation. The taste? You have to try any of these plates to believe it! Both were perfect.

The price was reasonable. Parking was not an issue around the Cabo Rojo square and we will definitively go back for more...

We all order the ceviche and we were all impress by how good it was. The seasoning was out of this world. I will recommend it to anyone that love ceviche. Have to admit we were looking to eat and couldn't find the place we wanted open and end up on this bistro. The place was almost full the were all working with short staff and still the service was above and beyond. Food 5 Star, service 5+ Star. I will como again. Stopped here for drinks and some food and while it was very crowded that day, the service was reasonably prompt and the experience was good. Had the burger sliders which hit the spot. Forgot to take photos, I was too hungry. The restaurant had a nice ambiance and the prices weren’t too bad.
