From the moment you step through the doors of Tall Paul's, you can tell it's more than just a restaurant; it's a destination. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between a cozy, local eatery and a lively, welcoming hub. The lighting is warm and inviting, and the decor feels both modern and comfortable, making it the ideal spot for everything from a casual family dinner to a night out with friends.
But as wonderful as the ambiance is, the true star of the show is the food. The menu is a delightful mix of classic comfort food and creative new dishes, and it's clear that everything is made with care. We started with the award-winning cheese dip, which was creamy, flavorful, and dangerously addictive. For the main course, I had to try the Monte Cristo sandwich, which has a well-deserved reputation as a crowd-pleaser. It was perfectly prepared, with a rich, savory-sweet balance that left me speechless. The Chicken Fried Chicken, another house favorite, was also outstanding—cooked to perfection and incredibly tender.
However, the element that elevated our experience from great to truly unforgettable was the service, thanks to our waitress, Samantha B. Her passion for the menu and her genuine warmth made us feel like we were old friends. She was incredibly knowledgeable, offering fantastic recommendations and answering all of our questions with a smile. It's rare to find someone who not only provides excellent service but also contributes so much to the positive energy of the room. Samantha B. is a true professional and an absolute gem.
Tall Paul's is a must-visit in Cabot. The combination of incredible food, a wonderful atmosphere, and top-notch service makes it a standout. We can't wait to go back, and we'll definitely be asking for Samantha...
Read moreI know they've only been open for a short period of time but that's when you want to shine so your reputation out there. Their Facebook reviews were good and photos of their food looked awesome. So we went today for the first time arriving about one hour after they opened. They were only slightly busy, about four other tables occupied so there is no excuse for what occurred.
We were seated and greeted quickly and friendly and served our drinks immediately. Be warned this was the first Hick-up... no diet drinks. They carry Coca-Cola products so there is no excuse for not carrying the number one selling drink in the world... Diet-Coke. It's not an opinion it literally out sells all other soft drinks world wide by a two to one ratio. That being said we ordered unsweetened ice tea which was good.
Then came the deal killer... they told us only two appetizers were available, only one entrée was available, catfish, and only a few burgers and sandwiches were available. We came to eat a meal not fast food.
The owner/manager tried to explain that they couldn't accommodate the menu items because they were new and only recently opened. My feelings are that if you don't have it available don't put it on your menu. This is an increasingly occurring issue with all area restaurants near us. I'm in the service industry and it's purely poor preparation and management. Because it's so frequent we have just made it a policy to not visit establishments that waste our time and fuel like this. It sad because I'm sure the food here is great... when...
Read moreWe decide to travel out to Hwy 5 and find Tall Paul's and try them as their menu has some mouth-watering choices. Once there, we wanted diet cokes and our only choice was coke zero, so we ordered Unsweeten Tea. Once our drinks were received we were told the only entrée being service is catfish plate and we were there to try the ribeye and smoked porkchop. How disappointing. We have been watching all there facebook post and the menu posted many times with nothing stating limited menu. We excused ourselves to pay for our tea and the waitress stated she wasn't going to charge us for the tea. As we were leaving, the manager caught us to inform us the staff was still training and limited so at this time they can't serve entrees at lunch time and there are limited items you can order. Why was this not posted so we could have decided to come when there is a full menu available. Im not sure why they opened a grand opening on July 31st unable to serve foods they have displayed on their menu everywhere with no disclosure. Maybe August 31st would have been a better choice. This ruin our experience of...
