Ferrell's Snappy Service - Cadiz — Restaurant in Cadiz

Moved here over a year ago but never had a chance to try this almost 90 year old business. This has now become our go to place for decent burgers at a decent price. Can not beat it. Burgers are better then any other place in the area that serves burgers. Because they have limited seating it is best to call your order in and then go pick it up.

4/9/2019 update. This place has gone downhill bad in the last couple months. Food is poorly prepared and full of grease. Always someone new working. Day shift is great. The lady that has worked there for over 20 years is golden. When she retires they might as well close the doors. Until changes are made I will not waste another cent in that place. I suggest everyone else do the same. FWIW when I called in about the terrible order we for tonight they hung up on me. So much for customer service!

I’ve ate at this place multiple times and it’s been great but tonight was TERRIBLE. They were packed but EVERY person was complaining as they were coming out the door and everyone was saying it was taking hr + wait for Togo orders. We were told 30 minutes on our to go order… Two of the people we were with went in after 45-50 minutes and the food wasn’t done. We then went in after a hour and told they didn’t have a ticket for what we had ordered. They were asked how long it would be to RETAKE the order and make it and the lady on the grill was asked multiple times how long as if she was ignoring us. Health inspector needs to be sued. Cook making burgers was wearing long fake nails, only one glove and the entire 30mins or so never washed her hands once, which wouldn’t have been a problem except she was working the register, taking orders and picking things off the floor. Cross contamination of prepared foods and raw foods was like the pastime there as my raw burger and my cooked burger were smashed and then assembled in the same place by the same one gloved cook. The ants that joined us for the inside picnic lunch were not surprising as just about everything in the building was against health code. 17 years in food service with 16 years in management I have never seen so many violations in a restaurant that still...
