A burger aficionado here, gotta say after visiting many good/ok meat in bun eateries in the island and abroad, Jungle is the best Burger you can eat in PR. Visited their Caguas location which is simple in ambiance and big in flavors. Waiter was attentive and courteuos (Rodolfo) without over selling the menu which is speaks for itself wild animals themed and diverse enough to please any appetite range and size. Servings are hit-the-spot portions with a selection of drinks to match. Do come hungry, any one of their savage burgers is a sumptious meal. Fair prices $$, Tasty fresh food. Will definetly eat there again, try a rhino, leopardo or jirafa. Tornado chips are a must. **/5
Con: (not their fault) management should figure out a better parking situation, stalls are few and there's a tall sidewalk edge right up front, not good if you are driving a low ride/compact/ rental/foreingn car. Be careful. Thus, spaces may be scarce during weekdays when said sidewalk must be shared with other next door bussiness. But hey is 'JungleBurger' take a big safe...
Read morePlace has a cool decoration, food was good had a banana mojito which I found was weirdly good (didn't know you could make a mojito with bananas) ordered some appetizers but they never got to the table, good came and when I asked for the appetizer the waitress said she forgot to order them and promptly said that maybe they ran out of the alcapurrias in a sort of dissmisive way, place was almost empty at the time with only another table and maybe the phone orders. Was asked if we still wanted them but declined as food was already there. Although the food was good the meat had a weird odor, maybe I'm not used to the ground meat they use at that restaurant but it was giving off a very gamey flavor that almost smelled as it was going off, ground meat was very firm and a bit hard, chicken had great flavor, and churrasco was delicious. The mofongo filled burger was told was good but...
Read moreWe tried Jungle Burger for a second time because the first was during the pandemic and we had to adjust our expectations.
The 8oz Jirafa was the best burger I have eaten in Caguas. It was fresh and flavorful. The shoestring fries were tasty as well. My wife had the had the Monkey burger and she was not overly impressed. The reason for the 4 star rating on the food is because the beef is very dressed up with seasoning and onions so you lose the taste of beef. Some palates probably enjoy that but I prefer beef with salt and pepper. This my only critique.
The service was excellent; even for a Sunday evening and the atmosphere was pleasant.
The parking is a bit difficult but I was happy to see there was...
