This was a first time visiting Xatay, i have heard so many positive things a out the place and allow me to say. They were right. The place had a lovely atmosphere, diving the restaurant into two experience. The first being a more family friendly but professional dining area and the other changing into a much more colorful experience with Anime posters, art and minor little details that made the experience so much more enjoyable to go. Food took a little bit longer than expected to arrive but the place was full so i won't judge them for that. The service was a little odd, the waitress we had seemed a little zoned out and didn't come to our table all that much which we found a little strange. Overall the prices can vary and average around 25-30$ per person (depending on what you order not including appetizers) and even if you order from the more expensive side of the menu, its definitely worth the purchase. Food tasted great and the menu cators nicely to a variety of flavor palettes. I’m really impressed by this restaurant in Caguas, which with just one visit became one of my favorites. The ambiance was charming, and my wife was particularly fond of the decor. We were seated promptly, and the waitress provided excellent service with great recommendations.

To start, we enjoyed cheese balls with guayaba sauce, truly delicious. I tried a whiskey-based cocktail called "The Soldier," which was superb, and their mojito was also excellent. For the main course, I had a risotto with lamb that was nothing short of divine, the flavors melded perfectly, and the lamb was very tender and tasty. My wife opted for the non-spicy ramen and declared it the best she’s ever had.

We finished our meal with a warm pudding topped with vanilla ice cream, which was a perfect ending. This restaurant has definitely earned a spot on my list of favorites. Kudos to the chef from Saturday, July 28, and all the staff for their outstanding work. My wife works nearby, so she’ll be visiting more often.
