Sakura — Restaurant in Caguas

Sakura was my favorite sushi place for over 10 years. I've been there for birthdays and many special occasions. Even when they added their delivery options, I was ordering like crazy. About a month ago, I ordered my top favorite sushi, the Sorpresa, and it was awful. It was huge and it tasted all kinds of wrong. Today, I ordered again thinking that it was probably a fluke or just a bad day, but I received the awful quality sushi again. I have never been so disappointed in my life. Sakura has changed, and it's heartbreaking for me. Bad quality, soggy rice, huge pieces that just makes it NOT enjoyable at all, and missing shrimp. I don't know what happened, but I have to sadly say, that I won't got back again. I jave added photos as reference....

Pedí unos sushi regulares (que no vienen con temperatura) para llevar. Cuando llegue a casa, luego de un tiempo debido a unos tapones a causa de un accidente que hubo en el expreso, me percate que los sushi rolls eran con tempura. El gran detalle es, soy Celíaca, por lo que no puedo comer ningún alimento que contenga harina de trigo y los sushi tenían una capa encima de la harina de trigo. Llame al restaurante y la encargada me dijo que regresara a buscar la orden de nuevo que me los hacían sin tempura antes que cerrará el restaurante a las 10pm. El gran detalle es que ya es tarde y aún hay tapón en el expreso por el accidente que ha provocado congestión inusual en todas las vías adyacentes. Le expliqué a la encargada pero me insistía que no había tapón. Ella tampoco me ofreció la alternativa del servicio de delivery ellos. Mi esposo intento llegar a una opción para pasar mañana pero ella se inventó la excusa de que el sistema de órdenes no le permitía hacer una orden para el otro día. Explicación que no hace sentido alguno. En fin, ella quedó en devolvernos la llamada para ver qué iba a solucionar y no nos devolvió la misma. Lo que más me molesta es que ellos me cobraron los sushi rolls en tempura el cual los había ordenado regulares. Ellos tienen unos rollo regulares y el mismo con temperatura. Dos versiones del mismo, lo único que hace la diferencia es que uno tiene una salsa encima con harina de trigo y es más caro que el regular. Tantos años que iba allí al restaurante a comer y cuando lo pido para llevar porque necesitaba llegar a tiempo a casa y ya había pasado más tiempo de lo normal por los tapones causas por el accidente. Pues mi hija necesitaba que le suministrara sus terapias respiratorias en casa. Estoy sumamente disgustada y decepcionada porque no pude comerme nada de la orden porque todos los sushi estaban contaminados con harina de trigo y...

I sponsor Sakura for its quality and flavor. However today I ordered a spicy crab and shrimp salad to go and when I got home, to my Surprise I saw that they reduced the portion size. When I observed the to-go bowl they used, they served the salad on the top side of the to-go bowl instead on the bottom side which has bigger/wider space. So either it was a mistake or they actually reduced the portion, which is another tricky way to increase the prices. We’ll see.
