I went in today to get an iced coffee and a drink, and was in a very good mood. No problems greeted with a smile and started it out as good as any time I’ve ever gone in there which is about once a week sometimes twice. When I ordered a guru drink, she asked which one I said the one in the Orange can she’s like well like we have two that are kind of orange Which flavors and I could not tell by the side of the can that was facing the glass with the flavors were, I walked around the glass case, and she started yelling at me, which almost made me decide to leave without taking my order. But decided against it as I didn’t know what was happening in that young lady’s life and give her the benefit of the doubt. She ran my card. I was prepared to give a tip. She never gave me the receipt. just acted very upset. I apologized three times I said I’m sorry I did not realize I crossed the line. Please forgive me I said, and then she just said here’s your drink and set it on the counter and turned and walked Away. Unfortunately, the worst experience I’ve ever experienced in a coffee shop. And there are so many coffee shops around I have nine children, and we usually order multiple drinks and I am a heavy tipper and I am not tipping and did not tip today and will not be back in that establishment....
Read moreOk I'm torn, I loved this place when it was Joltz. Now I'm having a hard time finding redemption. Most of the staff are friendly except for one girl, short dark hair, who seems like a manager? She just has an attitude like she doesn't want to be there, and it shows. The staff take too long, I must wait patiently for 2-5 minutes to get someone to ask my order while I'm standing at the counter, because most of the time they are talking and ignoring the counter. A couple times it seems like they were training someone, and attention was needed for that, I get it, I'm patient. The price changes once in a while, usually by no more than 0.50$. The biggest complaint I have is inconsistent opening hours, in the last 3 months I have twice shown up a half hour after opening, and they were closed. I am sad that the drip coffee is not self-serve, but things change. The owners probably need to be aware of the opening hours, the girl that hates her job. Now I do like the friendly workers who help me and leave me alone and seem to enjoy being there. I love the theater seats that have stayed and the large tables I will continue to go here because it's convenient and I dont have to go to I to town and it's...
Read moreThis afternoon was my first time checking this place out. The shop inside is super cute and unique however the staff was not warm or friendly at all, they had no personality or customer service skills from what I experienced. I was not greeted, smiled at or acknowledged in anyway even when I reached the counter. They just stared at me while I stood at the counter until I said hello to them, even then, no “what can we get started for you” “how are you”... nothing. They just responded with “hi” and we stood there staring at each other in silence, until I ordered. I also ordered a bagel to go. When they handed me my drink she said “there ya go” and walked away. It was not obvious to me if they forgot my bagel or were grabbing my bagel so after a few minutes, I asked the other barista “is she grabbing my bagel?” To which she replied “yeah, don’t worry” in a condescending tone. The drink was actually really good and the shop was adorable but because of the staff alone I won’t be going back. I hope they train the barista better on customer service and being more friendly and personable with customers because everything else was great. Super bummed that I didn’t have a good first...
