We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon of Memorial Day weekend. The mid level humming of the exhaust fans in their galley kitchen was very bothersome. Even with mild level music playing and others talking the humming couldn’t be ignored. The split kitchen model is boggling to me. That cook is constantly running between the back kitchen and grill/friers. Which means he is using his hands(sometimes covered with gloves and others not) to touch everything in between those two kitchens. Everyone else that accesses that kitchen also touch that door which is clearly evident by the dirt on it. We watched the cook use his ungloved hands to pick up cooked food out of the friers and serve it. The place wasn’t very busy but it was clear he is new to cooking as he really struggled to multitask. We ordered a wrap with friend chicken and 50 minutes later we received a grilled chicken wrap. We still ate it because it had been 50 minutes….. it’s odd that no sauce is on the wrap - nothing! We asked for ranch when we ordered but it was served as a side which is fine but who wants a dry chicken wrap with no sauce? I could barely eat as I was so disgusted by the chefs practices. The waitress who was also the bartender was working...
Read moreVery inexperienced bartenders and waitresses. No soap in the men’s bathroom. It’s almost as if the bar staff just shows up, and that’s it. Takes a long time to have a waitress come to your table when the place is not that big, The music is way louder than it needs to be in a space of that size .. BUT- good atmosphere, nice renovation, sound dampering panels on the ceiling, nice new flat panel TVs, etc . Hopefully the bar staff will mature and get on track.
I do plan on returning and bringing my wife. It would be a great place to just hang and watch a game or something. Lots...

If you haven't been by yet please stop in and have a cold one. You wont be disappointed. From great whine to hand muddled old fashions and cold beer, your drinks are served with a smile and a thank you. If you happen to stop in on a Friday I highly recommend the fish fry. The blue gill is the best Ive had hands down. This is definitely the nicest establishment in the Mt Pleasant, Caledonia and...
