I felt like going to a new restaurant after the reopening of Wisconsin during the COVID -19 era. That brought me to a cozy little restaurant in Franksville, WI called the Meadows Family Restaurant. Honestly I wasn't sure what to expect but it was fantastic experience from exemplary customer service to great food. I ordered the Gyro melt with American and feta cheese and it was bursting with flavor. The Tzatziki sauce added another dimension and my taste buds were sent on a trip to paradise. The fries were really crispy as well Western Omelette was outstanding. It was prepared perfectly and really well seasoned. The Alaskan Waffle was pretty good, and the quality of the waffle itself is better than a good amount of restaurants I have been to. The Rice pudding was a perfect snack and treat to end the visit on. Overall I would give this restaurant 4.5 stars. My only regret is that I unfortunately cannot remember the wife/waitress's name. But the hospitality from her in the restaurant is one of only a handful of restaurants I have been to. The Husband and Wife team did a spectacular job. I will definitely be back Update 7/1/20 My friend and I decided to revisit this establishment to get the dessert of the Alaskan waffles one more time. I asked them to make it extra crispy, when that was done it was on par with my favorite waffle Churro waffle from another restaurant. I wanted to thank the amazing husband/wife team of Dimitri and Sofia and the waitress Chris for their exemplary customer service skills.

First time here. Found it in a Google search for breakfast places near I94 and Hwy 20. The Meadows was a cute hometown place that had good food and a very friendly staff. The menu was broad enough with a couple specials. My boyfriend had coffee and said that it was delicious. We tried a Western Omelette and a Feta and Spinach Omelette. The eggs were not fluffy, but oddly very tasty. We would come back. Waitress was very friendly and accommodating. The place had lots of history and a nice local vibe. Lots of families and you could tell that there were lots of “regulars”. We would return. Go check them out.

Very nice restaurant in Franksville. They serve a very hardy breakfast. I was very full when I left. Bathroom was very clean and stocked. Waitress was super friendly and made the breakfast enjoyable. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I would not go here again. We got to the resturant right around 10:30am for breakfast. The older hostess up front was rude. She was going to sit us in a corner booth but with 2 kids one needed a high chair i asked about one of the empty tables which she replied we would have to wait. We ended up taking the boot. The waiter said that it would be a little bit of a wait because they were busy (they were about 75% full). The waiter did not get to our table for about 10min, we placed our order right away. Your normal eggs for the kids, eggs for me with french toast, omelet and a side of hash browns and corned beef hash (which obviously was canned). Never was checked on again by the waiter until our meals came out at 12pm. 1.5 hrs to get breakfast is ridiculous for anyone let alone a family with 2 young kids. Food was ok, i would say a 5 out of 10. I could of cooked a better breakfast with the same items quicker, taste better and cleaned up with the same amount of time or even went to McDonalds for the same quality. Spent $38 before any tip. The hostess was also rude to other guests. Table right next to us the wife sat down, she asked if they wanted anything coffee. The wife responded that he went to the bathroo . The hostess said rudely then he will have to wait for the waiter then. For a "family" restaurant it is not so family. Would not go again, not worth the time unless you want to eat 1 meal in the same...

Im not sure what happened but the waitress was awesome. I ordered the American skillet and when i started eating i realized everything came shredded like the hash browns not a big deal just a different vibe no problem. The veggies were undercooked and very crunchy it looked like a whole onion was shredded over the entire skillet the bell peppers were also extra crunchy the hash browns in the middle were almost as a mashed potato and the outside extra burnt luckily i didnt break no teeth by this time i figured ill just eat the eggs and toast and take the food home and cook it until the vegetables soften up and i dont like sending food back cause i dont trust people. So now im eating the over easy eggs with my toast and in the middle of eating the eggs i bit down on an eggshell and that was it for me. I didnt complain cause i know how people are when you ask them to fix their own mess ups i did pay for the food and i also left it on the table i will not be going back. I cant say i was treated wrong because im brown skinned since im not quite sure but for so many red flag in one meal is just truely ridiculous and by looking around the restaurant not many customers at its most busy time of day and...
