Golden Dragon Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Calexico

This restaurant needs to update their website hours & days of operation. I've called their phone on Sunday and Monday to order food to go but they never answer the phone and it goes to voicemail. Their site says open 7 days a week. On Sunday I decided to drive to the restaurant after calling their phone for an hour. When I arrived the restaurant was closed and they had two small paper notes taped to wall to be kind to their waitresses. Hmm, customers are probably upset cause they don't answer their phones!

Golden Dragon, please update your website and if you close on Sunday and Monday then post it. Also, your restaurant phone message should also be updated to say in the recording if the restaurant is closed instead of just letting it ring to eventually go into voicemail. I know you won't update anything because it's the imperial valley and the system is corrupt all the way around from doctors, medical offices, stores and restaurants. No wonder valley folks prefer to go...

This place has been in business for over 20 years and just gets better with age. I ordered the combination for 2 and had forgotten how great their pork fried rice was. The waiter was a young man who couldn't have been nicer if he tired. He was very attentive and kept asking us if we needed anything else. There's plenty of parking outside and the place is clean. But it's the food that keeps you coming back. Do yourself a favor and when your in Calexico, California try out the Golden Dragon. You won't be sorry. I went there for there Chinese new years party it was great they had a variety or drinks to start out with then they had some guest speakers from the city of calexico say a few words about what's going on in the city followed by a prayer before the entertainment started by the calexico martial arts academy they had multiple dancing dragons with musicical drum beats to go along followed by an all you can eat Chinese buffet that was delicious I had some new dishes that I tried for the first time like duck it was interesting..can't wait for next...
