Called for one night before I went to Mexicali to visit family to relax before driving hours back home early in the morning. It's not worth the price. The lady in the office doesn't speak Spanish, so I had to translate to my family, kinda weird because the motel is really close to the Mexico-US border, and some immigrants might need a place to stay. I also hear loud knocking at night and the lock beeping as if someone is trying to get in with a keycard. Doesn't feel safe at night unless if it's just my guts acting up. AC keeps turning off and back on randomly. Looks sketchy and kind of gives me the creeps at night. Went to grab some food in the neighborhood, and someone was walking around with a gun in their hands. It might be dangerous if they or others roam...

Although it appeared clean, I opened a box of doughnut, ate one and took a shower, and when I got out went to have another but decided to let the two roaches in the box have the rest instead. Good thing I brought my own toiletries because all that was included was 2 bars of soap the thickness of a salteen. Just for giggles I tried one out NO LATHER AT ALL and they were crumbled inside the wrapper. Took the shower 5 min to start to get warm. Pillows were flat. No phone or coffee. TV remote didnt work. Electrical outlets were in disrepair. And all this for the low low price of $80....
Read moreWent to Calexico to renew some important paperwork. The location was okay since I was 8 miles away from where I needed to go. It's located very near the border but it's a terrible hotel and way overpriced. The room wasn't good and the lock barely worked but did stop somebody from getting in while I was taking a shower and knocked hard on the door to try to intimidate me. I checked once I was done showering but whoever tried to get in was gone. So look for a better place. Definitely not...
