If it were a way to rate this Hillbilly Restaurant a flat out ZERO, this place deserves it! I was here on Monday night, 10/17/2022. I figured all Waffle Houses were the same, with no difference between any of them. Waffle House is a Waffle House right? Not in the case of this Hillbilly, backroad, Poor Cracker, Redneck sicko place. I went in here late night on the date above as a travel stop. Just looking at the white people in this place appearance, poor-looking, jealous, envying, some kind of in-breed hillbilly Crackers mix breeds, with ill intent! I knew i needed to leave. I got gauked at, frowned at, hated on, ignored when ordering, rebuked with ignorance and mean attitudes for coming in this place, then treated like a old time Martin Luther King counter incident!! I thought to leave immediately. I turned around from the counter, and was headed for the same door i came in. I was not wanted in in this place. Floors were dirty from the days cooking, trash on the floors, and old out-dated style Waitresses was working, old, wrinkled, racist, was working here that night, not wanting to do absolutely nothing for me. When I started to get up to leave, a fat toothless waitress asked me what my order was. I ordered 1 waffle but kept my eyes on the preparation when some Hillbilly Old Geezer Cracker dude started asking me about my hair. I told him, "im not in here to talk to you about my personal looks, and how are you coming up to me anyway?? Don't ask me anything else, as this conversation is over. Don't ask me anything else". This guy had the nerve to say "Don't get mad." I told him to "get the hell away from me! You don't know me, and I don't want to know you!.. Now GET!" I got my Waffle, paid, and left asap to my waiting motorcar. Had a Man been with me, that White Hillbilly would have never come up to me like that at all. Beware this place at all cost if your a female of color or any single woman...
Read moreLove Me some, Waffle House! Usually, this is a spot I'd drop by at about 3:00 am, but I had a craving, like no other tonight. I had to have my regular. Allstar or Grand Slam, not sure what it's called but it's good stuff!
It consist of, a Waffle of course. And can't pass up hashbrowns, cover, smothered and chunked. Let's not forget the best scrambled eggs with cheese and wheat toast AND BACON!!!!
It wasn't crowded, so I got my food super fast. The staff was awesome, very kind and polite. The resturaunt was very clean . I didn't enter the restrooms but they do have them. They are wheel chair accessable and has a wheelchair entrance as well.
Overall good experience, with good food! I recommend stopping through as your driving by. Right off the I 75 exit going north. Easy to see from that direction. Coming south I 75, you must cross under the bridge and it’s on the left.
Enjoy! If you like my photos and review please hit the thumbs up, much appreciated.
Thanks, Jenna Update on 10/18/20 Coming back from Atlanta I decided to call and place a Togo order called twice no answer. Got there there were 2 cars and 4 people inside. Order 2 biscuits both with gravy on the side. I really hate soggy biscuits. I hear the waiter say need more gravy were out. I saw him put the two plates in the bag then cook my kids Waffle. Then put it in a bag and headed towards me. I said did you happen to put the Gravy on the biscuits. Yes he said . Oh I forgot. Do you want me to fix it? I just shook my head and walked out. He just said that there was no more ...
Read moreThis was an awful experience. I think this has ruined Waffle House for me entirely. The situation was unacceptable as was the "resolution" to the problem. After a longer than acceptable wait to even be greeted at our table, our waitress apologozied for the wait, so we decided to start fresh with an open mind. After all a little wait never hurt anyone. When we finally got our food, we proceeded to eat. I ordered a double patty melt. I had eaten the first half, when I took a bite out of the second half, I tasted something weird and proceeded to pull a clear wrapper out of my mouth. There was plastic, from who knows where, cooked into my hamburger. We immediately stopped eating, both so grossed out by the situation. We politely asked our server to speak with the manager. She asked why and we explained what happened. She took the plate away. Our waitress relayed the experience to the manager, who replied to "comp it." The manager never talked with us directly or apologized. They never offered to re-make the food and honestly we were both so grossed out by it that neither of us wanted to keep eating. We left a cash tip on the table, because after all it wasnt our waitresses fault. We got up to leave and our waitress holled at us that they only comp'd one meal. We paid nearly $12 for barely a half eaten meal... There was no apology, not a satisfactory resolution, and the situation was not addressed appropriately (there were employees...
