Update: Thursday evening May 11, 2023 Not happy with my experience here tonight. I tried their pecan chicken salad sandwich on toast on honey wheat bread. No Bueno for me. The bread is miserable. Too heavy and overwhelming. And toasted? Or like to throw it on the grill for 10 seconds. My initial sandwich was so bad that I asked for new bread. They gave me a new bread barely toasted. I scraped the Chicken salad off the old sandwich on to the new bread. Not much better. Won’t order that again. I also ordered two of the beef with cheddar sandwiches. Soggy buns and no taste. I asked for my crinkle cut fries to be made hot and fresh and they were good‼️ I don’t plan on returning anytime soon. At least not until I forget about this last experience. I can now understand why the Arby’s here in Stockton closed up! ————————- Update: Monday evening August 15, 2022 Unfortunately my experience tonight was not as good as the other night. The hush puppy coated fish was hot, fresh and good. I love that they have Coke zero! The French dip with au jus was ok. The crinkle cut fries were not as good. I asked for “fresh hot fries” and they mixed the old fries with new fries! Bad bad bad Turkey bacon sandwich was not good. You cannot toast/grill the bread and then wrap it up tight. The steam does not escape. It gets soggy. Oh yeah, and the bacon! Miserable. Certainly was not fresh. I don’t even know if they cook it in the restaurant. It might come from some factory somewhere pre-cooked!! Thumbs down! They need to revamp this sandwich! The prices are expensive. Thank God for the discount or I probably wouldn’t be here! Update: Thursday evening August 11, 2022 First and most important… A big kudos to the crew that worked Thursday night when I was there. This was by far the best meal that I’ve had at Arby’s…ever! I asked for everything to be dropped/cooked fresh and it was! I had the hush puppy coated fish strips. I had the crinkle cut fries. I had the corn beef Reuben sandwich. I had the French dip sandwich w/ au jus. Yes, I was hungry. I probably ordered too much but I ate it all because it was so good. I just could not stop eating. A lot of it had to do with how hot and fresh it was. Again, thank you for the great crew working that night. Compliments to all of them! ——————— Update: Saturday evening May 7, 2022 Time to update my review. I have a whole new outlook on Arby’s. The other day I received an email coupon for two of their Market Fresh sandwiches for seven dollars! I thought yes, I have to try them. That’s a pretty good deal. Almost a Bogo. I went later in the evening and ordered two sandwiches. One was turkey/ Swiss, the other was a Reuben corned beef! Both sandwiches were awesome! Of course, they are fresh made. Each had its own special bread. I really can’t pick a favorite. They both were excellent. Thank you to Arby’s for the coupon and for introducing me to your yummy sandwiches. I also ordered crinkle-cut french fries, hot and fresh. Of course, I ate them on the way home! Lol Beware…the cookies are very expensive although they are quite large! I ordered four cookies…over $10!! That’s over $30 a dozen! Update: April 18, 2022 Arby’s sucks! I received an email promoting their boneless chicken wings. I go to their app and it says they are not available at my local store. Plus… The only flavors they offer are hot honey and buffalo. What’s up with that? What if I want barbecue or a milder flavor?? The app doesn’t work right on my iPhone! Online ordering is not available at my store! Prices are not included on the menu on their app! If you have a question, they NEVER answer the phone!! How does this place even stay...
Read more6/13/20 The premises were clean and sanitized and the order was served promptly. The sandwiches were good, but instead of hot were merely warm at best. The clerk and manager were friendly, but we had an issue not resolved to our satisfaction.
Upon ordering, the clerk assured twice that we were eligible and would receive a senior discount. However, at the table we reviewed the receipt and became puzzled. Reason being we had been told twice that the senior discount would be applied, but it was not noted within the purchase order receipt.
A short time later the clerk was nearby our table and we asked why the senior discount was not applied. He stated "the manager said our order did not qualify." Upon our inquiry, the clerk said "ordering two chicken sandwiches for the menu price of 2 for $6.00 was discounted already and therefore was ineligible for the senior discount."
My reply pointed out that we paid full menu price for a roast beef sandwich and soda and asked why the senior discount for those two items was not applied. The clerk replied that he didn't know the answer and repeated that "according to the manager our order did not qualify for the senior discount." At this point, I asked him to take our receipt to the manager for review and relate our request to her. I told him if the discount was determined applicable, bring us a refund amounting to 10% of the cost of the two items noted. The clerk said he would and with receipt in hand, returned to the food prep area.
A couple of minutes passed and the clerk returned to our table. He informed that the manager changed her mind and said "if we still really want the senior discount for the (previously referenced) sandwich and soda then he could then complete a refund". (My feeling is there are two key words in the previous sentence - "still really" ! )
By now we had finished our meal and were happy that the manager agreed that we were entitled to receive a senior discount for the two noted items purchased at full price. However, we were extremely disappointed at the way this issue would seemingly now be resolved. We felt that after already making it known three times we were requesting a senior discount, it should have been brought to us already. So now we are being told that if we "still really want the senior discount" we would have to request it again.
In our opinion, nobody should have to make four requests to receive $0.80 for an entitled senior 10% discount and as a result we departed without repeating the request again nor receiving the discount.
As seniors we appreciate that certain businesses do indeed grant us a discount. I also understand that this discount has to be asked for since some seniors become offended if they are asked if they would like the discount applied.
But I feel, as a matter of principle, customers should not have to ask four times when one request should be sufficient. In my estimation, that is rediculous and represents very poor customer relations and services.
That is the basis of my one star rating for Arby's Lodi, Ca. The two reasons for writing this review is that hopefully this type of incident does not happen to others and that they serve hot instead of...
Read moreFirst off, please consider the level of service your giving with the current late night window attendant. The woman on our night visit, approx 220am, was incredibly brash, quite rude, and was a bit off in her ways overall. Meaning, odd requests like telling my father who was in front of us, and covering both cars bills, to get back in the line to pay for ours, AFTER we ordered AND AFTER she had given us order before he was allowed to pay for it! Naturally, a car had come in that time and was now behind us with yet another, and so on. So we had to extend our quick desired stop to a quite lengthy one unnecessarily. Had I actually opened my meal in that time and saw how unappealing and different it appeared from my expectations as well as the advertisement, I would have handed her back my bag and entire meal, and said no thank you, and left not owing anything. But as it went, I didn't expect a bad item like I got, or the wrong side, and didn't realize until we were again on our way to complete what was already a long day and long drive home. I ordered the brisket sandwich, meal with fry, no salt, a soda and added a orange cream shake. It was 17$ for my one meal, and I never even got my soda! My fries had salt, were old tasting and not hot, and the brisket was 2 pieces of super thin, very rubbery meat of some sort, was TERRIBLE, and after 2 bites I couldn't eat anymore. There were NO sauces on it, of any kind, and I did not get ANY type of sauces or condiments in my bag, NOR EVEN A NAPKIN! This was, by far, the absolute WORST VISIT Ive ever had at an ARBY'S, and I was beside myself- because we don't have one local, and it's been my FAV since Childhood! I was left feeling pretty gypted in the whole experience and let down after being so excited to finally come across one after at least 10 years of not having! I want a redo!! Arby's should be getting me back on this visit, because it was that bad. And that person at the window needs more training on how to be treating situations she encounters. And double checking the orders she handed out. In addition, she isn't seemingly capable of handling the double duty of drinks. Since I didn't get my soda, and after tasting my mom's orange cream shake, mine was def nothing like hers, as mine had zero flavor of any orange. So I'm convinced that part got left out. In closing, it was an awful regrettable event. Dont go out of ur way to this location is my advice! If you do happen upon it, I'd highly recommend sticking to the typical common sandwich lineup, so you have a better chance in getting a fresh familiar tasting option. Stay away from the overpriced brisket; it's likely just going to piss you off bad! Due to the location of this particular site, chances are your getting in a pit stop from log travels and going back to fix what's wrong, like I had been stuck in, is likely not easy to do or friendly option, so avail all together is my opinion. Unfortunately. Def not the outcome I was...
