Burger King — Restaurant in California

10-31-2024 I use this spot as a "if i have a coupon/discount code" kinda place, pro tip, sign up for their app and keep your expectations in check. The lines move relatively quickly in the drive thru, I place my order online and go for pickup; they usually start prepping when I give my order number in the drive thru. The food is what you might expect from a fast food chain, just don't order any high end items like specialty burgers or chicken; they are a low cost supplier so I act accordingly. If your there when the sprinkler turn on; which was a Thursday around 3pm for me then expect it to get on your car.

2-12-2024 Pro tip, order in advance on the app (I know I hate installing yet another app on my phone also) or from the their website. You'll get a little better deal and the food is ready when you get there. Tried the indoor pickup and drive thru after ordering from the app/website and the food was ready both times. It's a whopper, so you'll need to spruce it up with the fixin on the app, add BBQ sauce it helps. It's a burger so it tastes ok and the size is alright, also picked up some nuggets; they are alright with the right dip sauce. The staff in both orders and trips was good; the inside was clean as is the drive thru. Prices have more than doubled from a few years ago, that might explain why there isn't a wait. If I catch something on sale or they lower their prices I'll frequent more often; soo much competition now in the expensive burger marketplace; they should go back to volume and compete on price maybe?

Years ago I was a fairly regular visitor to Burger King but had not been there recently. Mainly because I found there were other options that were better. Last week I decided to see if I had been missing anything and I soon found out I apparently made a mistake by returning.

At this visit I ordered a Whopper and an Impossible Whopper. Since I only live 3 blocks away I took my food home. When we opened the food, you could plainly see that the burgers were not fresh. One of them was about room temperature and the other was just slightly warm. Apparently these were burgers that had been sitting out long enough to cool off and were not even close to being fresh, including the buns.

If we had been eating at Burger King, I certainly would have complained and asked for a fresh replacement. However, I didn't feel like driving back to get another that might have not been any better. Burger King is one of my favorite stops they have continuously put out the same delicious flavor of burgers sense I’ve been eating there. The employees and the team is very friendly and usually you will always see somebody cleaning up the restaurant which I think is great they are very quiet you really have to look hard to notice it. I am a little disappointed the Burger King in my neighborhood was shut down reasons unknown location was great but still I choose to eat at Burger King over other Burger restaurants now that my local burger king is gone the nearest one is not close enough for me and my family to just get up and go it would have to be a situation of me driving past one getting off the road ordering and then back on the road I will always eat there because of this minor detail of them closing down the one in our area will not stop me from going to eat at another area if I am in...
