I’m including pictures of Canyon Grille’s most recent menu as of 2/17/23. Customer service = 5 stars - everyone there is super nice. I did not deal with one person there who I didn’t think was an absolute sweetheart. Food = 2-3 stars. It depends what you get. Cons: Beef short ribs (1 star) as an entree is a pass. The meat was so dry and stringy and the veggies on the side were wilted beyond repair. Mashed potatoes side (2.5 stars) : It’s $9 for a small scoop and it’s not buttery and it tastes like it’s from a box. Roasted red pepper & tomato bisque (4 stars): It’s also a quite small cup, but it is delicious and creamy. We found a winner! Yay! Grilled cheese sandwich (1.5 stars): It was a piece of American cheese on bread. Nothing worth getting. Onion rings (1.5 stars): I’m an onion rings fan - these are a pass Fried zucchini straws (3 stars): I like these. They are way too oily but they are flavorful and a good portion. They just aren’t crispy enough. Just make sure you get a side of ranch. So, overall, they are a solid 3 and it’s probably best to sit there in person bc they do have live music on some nights which is nice also.

Although the customer service was great, I personally felt the atmosphere lacked a bit. They have 3 sides to this restaurant; the main dining room, the bar and the lounge. I’m sure its busy during the summer time and thankfully we arrived when no one was sitting at the bar so clearly that was the right choice. The main dining room looked really cute and upscale but you look across and it felt like a dive bar. There is plenty of seating to accommodate everyone, I just felt the dive bar needed a pizzazz. Shared a Ruben meal w no cheese but requested everything to be on the side; thousand Island and sauerkraut. The meat to bread ratio was off, I mean initially I wanted a corned beef sandwich but with so little meat I had to add the condiments, the fries were the best thing on the plate although it came a bit late it still was really good. Also, it should be noted if you want to share plates there is a charge.

Ordered a to go order on a Sunday night. Ordered a la carte items but was charged a full meal after tip ended up to be $45. Employees were pleasant but spoke about how they needed to throw all the food away because it was Sunday and other shop talk, a little unprofessional. What was really surprising was the small amount of food, lack of presentation and most importantly bland taste. Again, 1 entree for $45!!! I would expect so much better. Overall the experience was very disappointing and I would not return. Photo attached was immediately after opening the container, nothing was tampered with.

Stayed here at the resort for a week. Was a very nice stay. Decided to try thier local grill for support. We got sat down by a server who was the worst to say the least. Ordered our food off a menu that did not have much variety. I suspect the chefs did not have much variety in thier arsenal for any food that required skill. So my wife and I ordered just a burger because the menu was a after thought. My son is 4 years old ordered chicken strips and fries. I ordered a beer that came after my food arrived. Again terrible service. Food came and my wife seen that my sons food had a hair intertwined into it. The waitress was shown the hair and asked if we wanted it remade or just the hair pulled out. Of course I said I wanted it all remade smfh.

Food came out again and my son went to take a bite of the chicken strip and almost pulled his tooth out.. 2 out of the 3 chicken strips were completely FROZEN!!.

At that point my wife and I were upset. We left and went next door for pizza. The manager ( maybe darsing) was apologetic and took care of the inconvenience as best she could. First and last time ever. Sorry the food and resteraunt seem to be an...

The resort is so beautiful and this is the only restaurant on the property…. You think it would be good but it’s not even mediocre. The restaurant itself looks dated and old but the worst part is the smell!! It smells dirty!!! So we asked to dine outside. The patio isnt great either though…. Very underwhelming for such a nice property. The menu looks ok. Not a huge variety so you’d think they could get it right….but every meal we had there didn’t look fresh at all!! The chicken in every dish looks like they prepare it ahead of time and reheat it, the dressings are obviously from a bottle…and not good at all. And to top it all off just as I was finishing my salad, I found a dead pincher bug in it!! 🤮 gross!! They comp’ed the salad but honestly they should have comp’ed the entire meal!! Everything seemed old and re-heated in a microwave. Even The drinks we had weren’t good…The juice in our Bay breeze seemed old and even though we asked for doubles…it didn’t seem like we got doubles. Do yourself a favor and just don’t eat anywhere on...
