This place is at the point where it just needs to shut down or be taken over by new management. Came through the drive thru an hour ago with a $45 charge. Gave my card to be told it's not working. I pulled up my bank transactions to see three $45 charges. I showed this to the worker and was told they could not see the transaction go through on their end. Insisting it was my card, asked if I had another. I was already skeptical but had no other way to pay for my food- so I pulled out another card. Once again told that it did not go through even though that card showed two transaction for $45. I was told to call tomorrow morning to speak to someone regarding the issue. I asked if I could pull around and wait inside to see if it really was "my card/s" which I knew it wasn't, after the person behind successfully paid or not. Of course, as expected, the person behind me had their card also not go through. The workers then called the manager and told him the system was down. I asked if in all of this mess, time and inconvenience if I could at least have my food (which would just be thrown away). I was told no and that they asked the manager and he had said they could not give it to me. I now have to sit on the phone with two separate banks to dispute nearly $250 in food that was never received. Beyond horrible...

Another service based review for another Carls Jr let down. Let me paint the picture for you. Me and the family(4) just come from grocery shopping at 10pm and we decided we would visit this Location to grab a late night meal. There is no one in the drive thru so thats even better. We order 4 meals two being kids meals and the total is a ridiculous $31.00. We get to the window and get our drinks and what we think is all of our food. Now let me remind you again that there is no one else in the drive thru. So we take off and head home which is roughly 1.5 miles away. We go upstairs and sit down to eat just to realize we did not have my daughters nuggets. There was no one in the drive thru , how the heck do you not get the order right. Anyways, I hop back in my car and waste my time driving back to the establishment to get the nuggets they decided not to give the first time. I tell the mean young lady that she forgot to put the nuggets in the bag. I get to the window and she has an attitude like its my fault she dident give me my food. And the other red haired worker was juat as rude when i asked for bbq sauce for the nuggets. I typically frequent the Carl's Jr. On elk grove florin rd, but this one was in line with my route. So I stopped there, went thru the drive thru and the female who took our order, sounded very customer friendly and all was well. There were 3 cars ahead. After about 2 minutes we were next in line. No problem. However, it seemed to be taking a bit longer. So I looked up and the employee was leaning out the window laughing and talking with the patron (who she obviously knew personally) for like 5-8 minutes! That would've been fine had that person NOT had their food, but when they finally pulled off there was no final exchange of food/beverage. Perhaps it was given in the 1st 2-3 minutes of the conversation when I wasn't paying attention, I don't know. But by this time there were servers cars behind us. I know she sensed my level of discontentment as the look on her face changed when she saw me. Got my food, drove off and THEN when I got home to eat my food, my order was messed up and had cheese on it...I don't eat cheese... and the bun was hard and burger dry....
