Dillon's Burgers & Beers Restaurant — Restaurant in California

Dillon's is one of my Cochella Valley desert favorites for many decades. This was until my encounter with the current Dillon's bartender. Why? Two reasons. (1) He, white-male on Thur. afternoon, 23 June 2022.served 16 oz draft beer to me in a small, I guess 12 oz, bell-shaped glass. (2) Later, the same bartender double changed me on my credit card. One at $23.70 and second at $28.44 ($23.70 with 20% tips). Proof of this fraud is on my credit card statement. I'm so sorry that there is this one 'bad apple'. Dillon's other bar tender (female on Mon, 20 June 2022) and the cook are honest and outstanding. Food is always delicious. It is terrible to see this wonderful bar and restaurant's reputation tainted by such a bartender. Bill from San Diego.

I really liked the food. I had a Dillion Burger the first time and a Hawaiian Burger the next. The tater tots are bomb. They have a good selection of tasty beers. The only complaint I have is .. They have that "LOCALS ONLY" feel. The owners didn't seem to discriminate but one of the waitresses was a bit cold acting towards us but when she walked back to the people at the bar she was all smiles and sweet talk. I didn't understand because we were nice to her. The patrons really seemed offish towards us too. We walked in and everyone was laughing and talking.... my guy joked back and there were crickets and bad looks our way the rest of the time. I mean a little dad joke that went right along with what their jokes were doesn't deserve...

Happen to find this place on the way to the Acrisure Arena just past Thousands Palms (basically Dersert Palms).. it's a small little place but the atmosphere was very chill, everyone was playing bingo and having a great time.. My wife and I ordered the Bison Burger, mine with bacon then on the side the tator tots and wings plus we both had a beer while watching the NFL Draft on the screen.. We got to just chill and relax in this laid back little dive bar before we hit our concert.. the food was fantastic, no complaints at all.. the beer the burger the wings all hit the spot and sent us off satisfied.. we will definetly make another stop when we are back...
