This place says it closes at 10. As you can see it's 9:11. There was two other customers inside but the moment I pulled up they both got up. I have 3 little ones with me so it took me a 3 min to get them down. I walk in and from across the room ask if it's a pick up. I say no. He then proceeded to say they were closed. I smiled and said the sign says 10 pm it's 9:05. My poor kids crying because there hungry. At least have the courtesy to turn off the open sign. If you want to close early that's fine but be consistent and follow protocol Turing off the lights. So disappointed. Shame because this place had the best salsa.

Pickup order (with customizations for each item). Everything was correct, packaged well, and food has a lot of flavor especially when you add the great fresh made salsas. Friendly greeting & service provided as well. Update. Decided to get out of traffic and have dinner. Tried couple dine-in friendly type plates and were impressed with the Camarones Al Mojo De Ajo (garlic butter shrimp) and Mojarra Frita (whole fried fish) plates.
Eric Lopez,Eric Lopez,
For the price the food is very bad they don't even and put onions and cilantro on cilantro on the tacos you have to do-it-yourself each timeach taco cost $3.17 I would rather Pay the price even if they were small tacos but tasted good Unedible Tacos are pretty big But either way didn't finish tacos because they tasted bad The price should be lowered

Stay away from this location unless you want to deal unprofessional employees. Let me start by saying that I gave this place a second chance. But today you lost it with your young employee at the counter I called in an order and I was put on hold for 30 minutes I called back and his excuse was ”my bad” I ordered you shrimp cocktails and a taco plate and asked that the shrimp cocktails be not too spicy or maybe no spice at all! I asked my husband if he could please pick up the order I had placed 15 minutes prior before he went to work. My husband agreed as long as the order would be ready when he arrived to his surprise the order was not ready because the young man told him that the sauce was already mixed up for the shrimp cocktail and that it would be spicy and there is no way I’m making it on spicy. So my husband asked me by phone if this would be OK so my reply was yes but only if they don’t take too long so you’re not late to work. My husband asked him to go ahead and make the shrimp cocktail as usual when he delivered the shrimp cocktail to me it was white like water a little bit of vegetables and shrimp at first I thought it was fish ceviche but then realize that there was shrimp in there but it was in water in a little bit of vegetables my husband waited 15 to 20 minutes for them to make this up. now he was late to work and this is the beach it taste like water with some shrimp. When I called the restaurant back the same boy answered the phone. The boys answer once again was my bad . When I told him it was not proper and good customer service to respond with my bad he hung up the phone. I called back and told him that was very rude and the customer service sucks also this shrimp water taste it so bad on able to eat it he asked me to bring it back unfortunately I just had surgery and I explained to him it would be impossible for me to bring it back he insisted that if I wanted a refund this and tasteful shrimp water needed to go back. Well guess Guess what this customer will not be back! Save your money...

Please save your money and go somewhere that actually puts effort into making quality fresh food. I ordered chicken nachos and when I got home it was completely stuffed with way too much tortilla chips at the bottom. The beans looked dry? I don’t know how else to explain it other than it seemed old and dry. The styrofoam container it came in had a hole in the middle of it which to me wasn’t normal, and I also noticed it breaking and ripped at the edge. After inspecting it more I noticed the cheese was encrusted and hardened on to the styrofoam container and that didn’t seem normal. I have the feeling my nachos was microwaved in the styrofoam container and maybe why the cheese was hardened and crusted on styrofoam container and maybe why the container had a hole and was ripping easily. Cheese does not get hard when melted on top of something warm and my only explanation for the dry looking beans, hard/crusted cheese, and the ripping and hole on the styrofoam is it could’ve been microwaved. El Sol charges you like the food is going to be consistently amazing and fresh. But I just got mediocre food that I know for sure isn’t fresh and maybe microwaved. Overall, please save your time and money and go somewhere that actually serves fresh food and charges you fairly. This...

Really Disappointed. My wife and I are from San Diego, so granted, we have some pretty high standards when it comes to Mexican food, but I'm pretty sure our experience here would have turned anyone off.

I got the carne asada plate, and everything was cold. Not room temperature, mind you -- Literally cold -- as if someone had taken the plate out of the fridge, and forgot to stick it in the microwave. And the meat was tough & grisly, too. Not at all like the quality carne asada we're used to.

My wife went with a carnitas burrito (which at least they remembered to warm before serving), but it was mostly just cheap fillers (rice & beans), which is sacrilegious where we come from. A proper burrito is supposed to be meat, guac, pico, cilantro, and nothing else.

Sorry to say, we won't...
