I am editing this review as of 5/2/18. Owner is rude. Ordered two pizzas on 5/1/18 for myself and one of my sons. When I got home my son wasn't home. I ate three pieces of pizza which was pepperoni and sausage. A little while later my whole mouth was burning. I called and spoke to the owner and told him what happened. He didn't apologize and what paid for was wasted. When my son not to eat his pizza because of what happened to me. The owner thought I was from Spring Valley which I am not and suggested I ordered jalapenos which I did not. He said he wasn't there when my pizzas were made but he was there to put them on the counter when I picked them up. He didn't apologize and just said he would check on it. I have had cooked jalapenos before and never had this reaction which the burning in my mouth went to the inside of my nose and gave me heartburn. The burning went on for 4 hours and continued until I went to bed. Jalapenos don't cause this amount of pain when I didn't have them on my pizza. I woke up at 6:00 am this morning running to the bathroom to vomit with diarrhea and flu symptoms. To make things clear the only thing I ate that day was toast with butter. What the hell did they do to a pizza that caused food poisoning or possibly a chemical poisoning. I can't even drink gatorade without having the urge to throw up. I froze the pizza in case I end up in the ER. Also, a food handler is required to use separate gloves for handling meat and vegetables. That obviously isn't happening. Was the meat bad? Also, when I paid my bill the cashier was trying to figure out how much change I was supposed to receive on paper. Isn't that is what a cash register is for! Thanks to the owner for keeping on top of your business which you are responsible for. I have two sons over 20 and they are passing the word around to their friends as to what happened to me and to not order Firehouse anymore and they will pass on to their other friends and Facebook. It may not do anything to the business financially but people need to be aware of what's going on. By the way previous order was wrong. What kind of business are you running? The owner's usually never read their reviews but the county may...
Read moreDelivery took 2+ hours... Was told 45 min. Delivery driver (the owner) said, at least the pizza is fresh... But it was barely warm. Also, did not even get the order right... Was one sandwich short... Well he did bring it eventually... More than 3 hours after I ordered.
And refused to deliver anywhere other than a bar which is permanently closed. Even though you can see our house from the bar. Defeats the convenience of delivery if I have to stand outside and wait for it in front of a closed business.
This place has never heard of the phrase "the customer is always right". The owner believes this is actually a proper way to do business.
I really wish this place wasn't so terrible. I was a part of their rewards program and I believe I was only 1 order away from a free pizza... But this is not the first time ordering from firehouse has been a hassle.. So it is honestly not worth it for me.
If you want to order food, sit around hungry for hours, and potentially get shorted on your order unless you triple check after all is said and done... Then this is the place for you.
Also, as far as quality... The pizzas are 50%+ bread. Couldn't say it is quite as bad as fast food pizza, but couldn't say it is much better either.
Will never order from here again.
Next day... I just reheated a slice... Took a few bites... And noticed something sticking out of the cheese...
IT'S A HAIR
Wow... Lol on top of the full on terrible service... The pizza had a hair baked into the cheese. Wish I took a picture of it before I pulled it out... But that is definitely not one of our hairs... There is not a single person in my house with 6...
Read more4 times in this month alone have i tried to order a pizza for pick up and not gotten an answer on the telephone and i have called from 745 to 830 without a response.. It says online they close at 9.. Ive even spoken to the owner and asked what time they close and hes said 9 pm.. So i figured tonight i would just drive down and order from the store to go.. As i pull in there are 2 gentlemen leaving with pizzas.. But once i parked i looked up to see a man worker run to the door and lock it then run to the back out of sight...it was 815 when i pulled up... I even yelled through the back screen door that i thought it was very unprofessional what they were doing and no response... Its sad that people are in such a rush to get off of work or rush home that they have no problem putting their jobs in jeopardy and costing the company money... Tonight was the last chance.. I will never spend another cent their and i hope that others follow my lead if they had been put in the...
