Fiance and I bought a place down the street last year, come here for donuts every so often, have always been happy with them. Smells and looks clean inside, which is important IMO especially for a hole in the wall/mom and pop shop. They obviously take some effort to care for their shop. I believe the couple that runs it is Argentenian. The lady does have a strong accent but she is very nice and it has never bothered me, and certainly never stopped me from buying a donut. Donuts seem to be a step above average and they usually have a few different unusual varieties. Prices are a bit higher than average but nothing crazy, 89 cents instead of 75 for a maple bar for example. They are a small lower volume shop on the edge of town so I can easily forgive this for the convenience. Today we tried out their tamales which evidently are made fresh fairly regularly (made the morning we bought them in this case), they are very tasty and at $10 a half dozen they are a fair price for a solid meal. We bought two each of pork, chicken, and jalapeno/cheese and enjoyed them all. A fair amount of meat, not oversalted, and a bit of spicy. We hear the empanadas are rather tasty also. Fiance says the breakfast ones are usually sold out or close to it. Not gourmet but seems like an honest couple trying to sell honest food. We are satisfied and will return repeatedly unless they give us...
Read moreI visited Leo’s Donuts and was seriously impressed! The chicken tamales were incredible—full of flavor, with tender chicken and perfectly seasoned masa. You can tell they’re made with care.
We also tried the pistachio and honeydew drinks, and they were both fantastic! The pistachio drink was creamy and nutty without being overly sweet, and the honeydew drink was light, refreshing, and smooth.
Of course, I couldn’t leave without grabbing a few donuts. They were fresh, fluffy, and had just the right amount of sweetness. The staff was friendly and the service was quick.
Overall, a great experience! I’ll definitely be coming...
Read moreHave been here a few times, their donuts are delicious! Not overly sweet, perfect for a craving. I love that they make the redbull infusion drinks, too. The savory filled croissants are yummy. I had a second croissant a few months after the first and forgot how good they were. Tamales are ok, a lil pricey and i wish they did the chicken with verde instead of pork & chicken both being red. Also maybe more flavorful. I had an empanada one time and I think it was old, dry, and not very filled ): Will try smoothies at some point. But I definitely recommend the donuts, croissants, and red...
