This is my favorite restaurant of all time. My family has been going here since I was a child some 30 years ago. The food is insanely good & everything you could want for from a family style Mexican restaurant. My favorite dish, that I ALWAYS order, is the Zarapes - which is like an enchilada, but filled with fajitas, covered in sauce, and served with rice, beans, sour cream, & guacamole. I’ll usually add a side Chile releno bc they are incredible. It’s a ton of food, so I always have leftovers! Beyond that, every other menu item is top notch, and compared to their one other location in Santa Clarita, this place is better. The chips and salsa are my favorite I have ever had - The only chips / salsa that comes close are Tex Mex chips & salsa that I had in Fort Worth, TX when on tour. I hope this place never goes out of business - the people here are like family & they treat you like family. Of course, we’ve known them for many years, but they are awesome to everyone.

The bar is great too- I don’t think there are many places where you can get classic cocktails like strawberry daiquiris or pina coladas anymore…the beer is served in gigantic fishbowl stemware too. It’s an experience! For us, it’s nice to have a nice huge beer after working outside all day in the desert heat - a real treat.

If you are on your way to the sierras from LA, or just passing through Acton/Agua Dulce, stop here if you are hungry. Or better yet, go here on purpose, drive specifically to this place. It is wonderful. Thank you MARIA BONITA for being here all these years and making quality food! I hope to take my children here for dinner someday too.

I went today to have lunch with my mom and my husband, and I have to tell you this place has really gone downhill. We all have medical issues so we can’t exactly have soda so we all ordered water. No big deal right? Apparently it was such a big deal that our server and another guy at the bar had to sit here and argue loudly in Spanish, that we didn’t order sodas. Keep in mind we speak fluent Spanish. When we ordered our food, it was very bland. The enchilada had no flavor, everything lacked salt. My tortilla was super soggy. Usually you fry the tortillas so it doesn’t get soggy and crumble apart and even the chili rellano was made with the wrong chili. It was covered in a really gross spongy kind of batter , and that was just my plate. Then when we got the check and went to go pay, I felt awkward and I didn’t like that they were arguing about us not ordering drinks,so I wanted to go. i left a cash tip, so I didn’t leave one on the card. then right in front of us the guy taking our money yells across the restaurant in Spanish “they stiffed you “ when he saw the 0 tip on the card, but obviously didn’t notice the cash tip under the cup. I will never be returning here for their subpar, Mexican food and shitty attitudes and also they used to have an A rating and now it went down to a B. I don’t know if it was a smell from their shitty attitude or their horrible food and lack of cleanliness but it...

Went here Saturday for dinner and IT was my first time there. Ordered the cheese enchilada Plate with rice n beans.. I'm gonna have to say, OMG!! IT was delicious 👍👍👍❤ . They put alot of cheese and when I pick IT up with my fork the cheese never stops from Siding down from the fork.. More delicious than Casa Jimenez that I would normaly go to near my house in West Covina.. The service was also good. Friendly people. The Manager was the one helping US checking on us making sure we were ok n giving US what we needed. My friend ordered the Carnitas plate. It was ok.. not enough flavor n the Carnitas was shredded not given in chunks of it.. He tasted my enchiladas n really liked it.. He works close by n said Next time her goes there he is gonna order the cheese enchilada plate.. Wish they had this place close to my home.. I would take my mom there.. We live an hour n a half from...

For our first experience here, it was very pleasant.. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, portions are generous, and food was very good. It is a casual dining atmosphere with comfortable seating.. We ordered the Molcajete Azteca, which comes with carne asada, filete de pollo, chorizo, queso panela, cebollas, nopales, and camarón in a molcajete on a bed of sliced onions & sweet peppers.. It is not spicey but is also served with chiles gueros for those who need some heat. It's portion is large and is meant to serve 2 people, therefore it is also served with 2 plates of rice with beans and their sides of sour cream, guacamole and your choice of flour or corn tortilla. We also decided to try the Chimichanga, which was also good. The Chimichanga is generously filled with chicken and topped with salsa. Very happy with our visit tonight, we would gladly return for another date night.

What a great find! This place is an amazing Mexican restaurant with food that stands up with the best in LA. The staff at the restaurant were exceptionally friendly - huge shoutout to them. The portions are generous and reasonably priced. You get a lot for what you order including the drinks. I had the Al Pastor burrito and my wife had the carnitas. I drank a huge mug of Pacifico while she had a pina colada. We also had chips and salsa to start which were excellent. Although it doesn’t look like much from the outside, the atmosphere inside very nicely reflects the rural community of Agua Dulce. There are many tables, Spanish and Western decor, and an even a full service bar. We will DEFINITELY come back!
