I had some time, so I decided to try the Cowboy Tavern because it looked like it was open. The entrance was a little confusing because there were 2 or 3 doors into the restaurant , and patio dining was available. The service was great. The food was pretty good. This was my first time trying The Cowboy Tavern. We arrived around 10;45 am. on a Tuesday. We were the only customers in the restaurant. I ordered the basic breakfast. I thought my breakfast was average. They did forget the biscuits and gravy. The gravy wasn't very hot and below average gravy. The coffee was good but not great. My friends breakfast was a customized omelet, which was very good but they didn't give him the correct potatoes. I guess we picked the wrong day to try this restaurant.
