I went into McDonald's to order a cup of coffee. Upon arriving there were 2 registers with 2 signs that said we're short staffed and you must order at the kiosk....so I attempted to order at the kiosk and my code for coffee wouldn't work. I asked an employee(later found out to be manager Eileen) for help as the code wasn't working. I asked if I could order up front and she said no, the only way to order is on the kiosk. I told her it wasn't working and she told me in a rude condescending voice that it doesn't matter ...I then asked for help and she condescending walked to the machine and entered my code.
The code didn't work and she then told me the code didn't work...I told her I know and that's why I came to her for help....at that time the app said I would have to wait 15 minutes because I had used the deal.
I told Eileen what it said and she told me in a very rude and Conde voice that I would have to wait. I told her I couldn't wait 15 minutes and she said that was not her fault and she had no way to honor the discount.
I then asked for a manager and she said she is the manager. I then asked for the General Manager or their phone number and she told me to call a number posted inside the store. I called and couldn't get help at all as it kept looping me back to the main menu
I am disgusted at the disgraceful act put on by Eileen. I get my coffee from McDonalds daily and the fact that I went to her for help and explained that the code wasn't working and she then put the code in herself and it didn't work followed by her telling me there's nothing she could do and I'd have to wait is grounds for at minimum a 7 day suspension.
She didn't defuse at all....she was talking soft but very rude and the look on her face made it seem as if I was bothering her routine.
I expect nothing less than to hear back from the general managers boss as when I requested the GM I was told it's not possible to speak to them.
I have no clue how you made her a manager as she does not know how to treat people. I have been coming to McDonald's for 4 decades and I have never seen a manager act like this...and I know she could have applied a discount to get the 99 cent coffee....but because she wanted to throw around her authority I then had to leave and drive to another McDonald's and then wait until the 15 minutes was up to order my coffee.

After giving her the 4 digit code and it showed as "got it" on my phone app, which is supposed to mean they receive it. Well, I started placing the rest of my order, and then she asked for the code AGAIN!! I politely told her I gave it to her already, and she said she needed it again bc it didn't go through! I stated it shows as received on my end, and she became irritated and said once again she needs code or she can't give me the free fries with the purchase otherwise. I tried to pull it up again, and it said I already used the code, and in the app, it said try back in 15 minutes, as I am sitting in the damn drive-thru!! I tried to explain this to her, but she was not in the mood to help me out and basically said she couldn't do anything for me! I was so upset I refused to place an order, and I sat in the drive-thru waiting patiently to leave!! You pay them $20/hr, but you can't teach them proper manners or even how to de-escalate situations to make the customers happy!! I think I am done eating at this cheap, overpriced garbage place...
Read moreI usually like this particular location but the stink eye and attitude I got for wanting to switch out a very watery unsweet tea today was crazy. The first switch out was another tea as bad as the first with a distinct attitude from the server that I was being difficult. The second time, I walked in, and I got even more dirty looks by the server that was at the drive thru and had came out to the walk in area and saw me there. I was given a cup to get another drink by a different server, but I heard her muttering and being rude about me and the tea to that server as I went to get a substitute drink. I was not in any way yelling at her, or being mean to her. I had mentioned that it was probably just a bad brew as it was literally water with barely any tea. The filthy looks I got from this girl was as if I had said insulting things and acted offensive, which was not the case at all.
