Ok so I was hoping this place would be better. And even after I wasn't completely happy with everything there I did return and give them another chance. But after today's visit I doubt I'll come there again.
The first visit I have to admit the pizza was good, although not the most delicious one I had but still good enough. However I think there was something up with their sprite, just a guess, or another ingredient in pizza, as had upset stomach right after dining there, and I don't have such problems normally, so clearly was something there. The service was fairly good, the women was really trying. However one thing I also didn't like is they have a trash can right by where they prepare food and they toss towels right by it, I'm fairly sure there are times they might miss and throw on pizza. Also price was very high, if I remember correctly I spent about $35 that evening for just a small to medium size pizza and sprite and couple bucks tips.
Second was to go, because I just wanted some nice pizza, not to drink beer or wine or wait long time. The guy I spoke with on the phone seemed a bit strange, he couldn't come up with price. Also when I walked in he spoke very loudly my name which was akward. The pizza was decent but again nothing special and IMHO over priced.
Third time which was today was the worst one, I got the pizza to go, which was pepperoni on white sauce. When picking up the guy that was giving the pizzawas weird, he didn't say anything but it's like he wasnt very nice or he was expecting a tip for to go order or I don't know what, but he acted weird and it was noticeable. The seemed smaller then the other pizzas I ordered before, but the worst thing is the pizza seemed very rough and chevy, there wasn't really any sauce, the cheese was hard. And honestly I can feel that its rough and I shouldn't have eaten that. And I know what decent pepperoni should be like. Even Skipollinis make much better pizza, Pizza Classico also does better, Loomis High Hand is even better. But this pizza even though it cost $21 its quality was fairly bad, like something you would heat up from boxes in Safeway or something cheap they give in caffeterias. I threw away a big portion of the "pizza" if I can call it pizza. Again this is one of the worst pizzas I ordered in similar places, even some dominos cheap place would probably do better. I'm very disappointed and will rather visit another cafe.
PS: I don't know whats up with these local places, why most of them can't make decent pizza, you guys probably never been to Europe and seen what amazing pizzas they make, maybe travel and look some time. But even in American standards this pepperoni pizza was awful....
Read moreMy family discovered this restaurant this past Monday and we enjoyed ourselves so much it has become our favorite wood fire pizza spot. We have been looking for a good pizza place for a long time and we were willing to drive 40 minutes to get to it. We went back on Thursday and enjoyed the food, however our server Holly made it less appealing compared to the first time.
We decided to go back on Saturday and arrived before they open at 4:30pm to grab a booth. We walked in exactly at 4:30pm and Holly (same server as last time) told us to sit down. We waited for the server and wanted to order before anyone else since our 3 year old was getting restless. However we waiting over 10 minutes and another 3 parties came in to sit down. After waiting even longer Holly proceeded to take orders from aLL the other 3 parties that arrived 10 minutes after we sat down, from to people at the bar and over the phone orders.
I started to feel that she was intentionally ignoring my family. She walked by us and told us she will be back to get our order, but then proceeded to take another table parties offer that just sat down and took their order. At this point, I felt prostrated especially since she saw that we have a toddler and arrived first on purpose to get something for her at least started.
When she finally walked by our table again to proceed to another table, after walking by us at least 10 times, my family decided to leave. We wouldn’t enjoy our dinner with a server so rude. Before I left I expressed to her how very disrespectful she was and that she was intentionally ignoring our table. I am sorry for the owner who has such disrespecting staff and I am sorry that we will not be coming back again. We usual spend a good amount of money per our visit and the owner just lost those sales from my family. We will continue to go to our other pizza restaurant as we have been twice...
Read moreAs my attached photo shows - what I ordered and what I got are not the same. And when I called about it I experienced the worst customer service. Had I been told upon ordering that the Stella 2.0 comes with a dry bag of arugula on the side and no lemon juice/olive oil/sea salt then I wouldn’t have paid more to have the “2.0” version. I called just confused and trying to inquire about having the dry bag of arugula on the side and the lady immediately is offended and says “I’m going to have you talk to the head chef to explain” and I can hear her say to him “can you talk to this customer? I’m about to freak out on her cuz she’s talking about the Stella 2.0 coming with a dry bag of arugula on the side!” The poor guy is interrupted from his job, I let him know I could totally hear her and that due to that: they just lost a customer. I’m disappointed I chose them over the 10+ other options in the area. Moving forward I’ll be taking my business elsewhere and letting everyone else know my experience. Maybe have a option for the paying customer to decide if they want arugula on the side/dry in a bag or risk it being soggy with the lemon juice/olive oil/ sea salt - or just have it as only in person option, not to go order. Either way/ it’s very misleading and I’m disappointed with how the pizza came out, it’s not what I thought I was ordering and then the customer service after totally ruined my appetite. Hopefully nobody else experiences this; so I’m sharing...
