This place was horrible. I ordered a "tres Leches" cake, thinking that it would be a real traditional style coming from a Mexican bakery, for my son's birthday. Let me just say...WOW. not only was the cake completely dry, it was not even moist at all. We were completely disappointed, but we only had the one cake, what am i supposed to do, not serve a 2 year old and my guests this cake? So I called them the next business day, and the woman I spoke to says i was supposed to request a "soaked" cake, other wise they make them with very little milk. so in other words...not a tres leches cake. How is someone who has never ordered here before supposed to know they wont make a real tres leches cake unless requested? So basically, i ordered a tres leches cake, and paid a lot of money for a 1/4 sheet cake for the price i could have ordered a half sheet from safeway. The person i spoke with said she would refund me HALF the money if i brought back MORE THAN HALF the cake. then when i told her, how am i not going to give my 2 year old the cake? she became rude telling me they never have complaints, and then she HUNG UP ON ME!!!!!!! After being turned away from the place I normally order my cakes I had 1.5 days to find a place who would put my plastic animals on my cake. I think most bakeries now days will only make a cake in their book. I was so relieved to find a friendly bakery who wanted to make my cake. I ordered a camping in the mountains theme cake and brought in some plastic woodland animals, trees, and camping lanterns, etc. This cake was better than any images I found on the internet. The sides of the cake had mountain ranges with grass and trees. I was so happy I took lots of pictures of it in front of a backdrop I bought for my kids party. Super clean and very delicious tres leches cakes! They make them of many different flavors! Favorite is eggnog tres leches (Ronpope) and mocha tres leches and raspberry or strawberry tres leches. And they have fresh ready cakes small and large there in store. And very delicious looking Mexican bread! Highly recommend! People from our church always ask me where we get our tres leches for the events because it’s always super good I always recommend them for any occasion for any event or birthday ! Super delicious!!
