I truly don't like writing poor reviews, especially when I try to give a place the benefit of the doubt. However, this place only deserves 1 star or to go back to the drawing board entirely. It's a great concept with poor variety and customer service.
As someone with severe sea food allergies, I honestly have to be extremely careful with what I eat in case of cross-contamination. Unfortunately this hotel is sea food heavy and reflected in the restaurants as well. Sadly I'm not one for meat either so when the majority rules on a place after being told we can not dine at the buffet unless we are blue card members form one rude employee we walled and asked for another who had referred us to here instead. Well, I was more than excited to find a place with a great selection of food variety.
Well, to my dismay, they are heavy on seafood and meat. A risk for cross contamination, not much for a vegetable lover when you are not allowed to just order the side of potatoes and asparagus as an alacarte . I would have loved to have seen a veggie patty burger option, at least, but that wasn't an option. My only save option I went with was the "spinach artichoke dip." I was actually surprised it was delicious but almost tasted like a southwestern queso dip with bread crumbs over actual spinach dip. I honestly don't believe spinach was even an ingredient in it. It was still full of flavor.
I do wish they may have had at least one pasta dish option with a side of veggies or a veggie burger or the option to order some sides alacarte. Something that would be more inclusive for other dietary restrictions or needs. A little more food variety that could be a filling meal would be amazing. They do offer pizza. However, nothing caught my eye for dinner.
The atmosphere is like a place pretending to be a dive bar. Lots of Tvs to catch sports was a nice touch . Although I didn't have a cocktail nor were we even offered a drink menu, I would assume they have something other than just beer.
Customer service was just plain aweful. O should have read reviews before we sat. Employees have no personality and not even a simple small chat of hi how sre you or have you dined here before? Not even a single smile. I'm not asking for the disneu Customer Service, but being acknowledged and greeted in a friendly manner would have been nice. The server we had took about 15 minutes after we sat to even greet us and take our order. Never asked if we wanted a drink menu and was very short and dry with us when we had questions about the menu. Our overall experience was not a positive time. We also waited extended time to pay, and the automatic gratuity is ridiculous. Especially for such horrible service, I don't feel the server even deserved a tip. They never provided me with a service or experience. A side suggestion would be to have a kiosk on the table to pay and order your food and eliminate servers. They lack customer service already, and I feel productivity would be better just paying through a qr or kiosk instead. This was my first and only time I will be dining here due to so many negatives . My one positive however was the dips was flavorful but it is not a dinner for...
Read moreOh my oh my oh my! The food was spot on so well that Gordon Ramsey would have been completely satisfied with it. We started with the roasted cauliflower in a honey separated sauce that was out of this world! They called it an appetizer but I could easily make a meal out of it. Mom and I split it and will be back here just for that alone. Scrumptious! And you don’t have to like cauliflower to enjoy it. That’s how good it is!
I received my steak and fries and was flabbergasted at the size of the steak. The chef gets bonus points for cooking it perfectly to my request: medium. Pink but not still dying on my plate bleeding to death. Mom enjoyed her fish n chips. It was so much in fact, that we took home the leftovers and had it for lunch the next day. That’s what I’m talking about. Good food, decent prices, excellent service, and large portions for the money.
We enjoy the casino, but it’s nice to be able and enjoy a great meal with my best friend. Take someone you love and share a similar experience. You’ll return again and again...
Read moreDisappointed is an understatement in regards to dinner at Patti's and Pints today. I ordered a bowl of clam chowder and a root beer float. The clam chowder was warm at best. I could have handled that but the flavor...oh yeah the only flavor was the sand that gritted between my teeth. The response from the server was should I tell the cook? And no one else said anything or complained. The root beer float was a couple scoops of ice cream with a single 12oz bottle of root beer which did not even cover the ice cream in the mug. The price $8. The check comes still being charged for the Sandy Chowder and a suggested tip included in the total. I pay minus the tip as I prefer to handle that separately. The change should have been $3. Did not get it back. If my previous experiences with this restaurant weren't positive this would have been a single...
