PiWhole Pizza — Restaurant in California

I recently moved from Fresno and was shocked at how bad Me n' Eds is here in Nipomo because that was our favorite in Fresno. So, despite many negative reviews about one employee at Pi Whole I decided to give it a try since the overall reviews were that pizza was good. I was helped by a very friendly gal and the pizza was decent. I did recognize who everyone must have been talking about in their reviews but figured maybe he just isn't a jovial person by nature and is just trying to get his job done. I have never been accused of being the friendliest person either so it didn't make much difference to me and I always try to support family businesses. Today, I called in an order (which was taken by the friendly gal that helped me before)and when I got there I took a seat at the bar while the "grumpy guy" was helping another customer. What followed was disgusting: After pouring the customer's beer and while the customer was looking away, the employee slurped the head off the beer and then smirked as if satisfied of what he just got away with and handed the beer to the customer (I guess he also figured I wasn't paying attention or just didn't care). When the employee walked away I asked the customer if he was friends with the guy behind the bar, when he replied no, I informed him of what just happened and I left the establishment without taking picking up my order. Based on previous reviews it sounds like this family has had to put up with this family member for quite some time but this is insane. I am not one to root against any business from succeeding but this family is allowing this disgusting and apparently rude family member ruin their reputation. I don't care if it were the best pizza in the world, this kind of behavior is unacceptable. I guess it's back to Me N' Eds or maybe try...

Update again: The pizza place has since gotten new ownership since our last experience 11 months ago. We got pizza there after the Trunk or Treat and it was SO good! The cheese pizza was our favorite, but the pepperoni is good too. The outside seating was nice. The staff were super friendly and helpful and brought our food out and got us extra napkins. The soda machine is a really good soda mix, it's honestly like a throwback to the 80s and 90s pizza places. They had kareoke going inside. The pizza is delicious and I'm so glad that we can order from them again! The pizza has a lot of bread but everything was cooked well, and unlike the last time, the sauce is not spicy anymore and it's actually edible by our toddler. Last time we were here walked in, seated ourselves, after we sat there 10 minutes without so much as a nod our way I finally got a nod like I'll be right with. You, but my mistake. Tables dirty nobody coming to bring a drink, we tried to stand by bar to give order no. Finally after waiting 20 mins the guy at counter says that we could not even place an order for one hour! This place was not crowded, the problem was they have one oven and we could not even get some customer service for a water. This place has some pretty good yet overpriced food, and this is probably the last time we go there, they have always been rude everytime I've gone and its bad business...
