We went through the drive-thru today and the person told us to wait in the parking lot for 12 minutes and our food will be ready. We paid and sat in the parking lot waiting for about 30 minutes. Another car pulled up and parked next to us and they got an order given to them almost immediately. My dad figured they might’ve given those people our order(keep in mind it’s the order we waited like 30 minutes for when they told us it’ll only be 12 minutes). My dad went inside and asked if they were still working on our order, and the staff there had the audacity to argue with him saying that he’s wrong and that we “haven’t been waiting for 30 minutes”. They told him that he’s lying and that they have cameras to “prove he’s lying”. Then one of the accusers decided to actually check the receipts on their side, and realized they did give the other customer(the one that showed up 25 minutes after us) our order that was supposed to be ready in 12 minutes. They had no apologies and no explanation for their misbehavior and they gave my dad the chicken. Then my dad checked by bag, because who would trust these people anymore, especially because they’re so inconsiderate? And they forgot the chicken sandwich we ordered. He told them that, and then they had the audacity again to give attitude and say “you didn’t order a sandwich”. But they checked the receipt again and they were wrong AGAIN. Then they made the sandwich and my dad left. We got home and they STILL managed to mess up our order, giving us mac and cheese instead of the mashed potatoes we ordered. Even after the girl said that “Everything you ordered is in there now”. They never once apologized. Their attitude and misbehavior was uncalled for and very unprofessional, especially when they were in the wrong the whole time. It was a younger caucasian female with tattoos and a younger African-American male with a goatee. They were the main problem. They shouldn’t be working any type of service job if this is their behavior. The food was just good, just as you’d expect it to be, they just didn’t know how to give us the right items. Definitely choosing another chicken joint next time...
Read moreThis has to be the worst run restaurant I've ever visited. We live about 13 miles away and really like the food. Sunday night pickup has become a regular thing, but not without bad experiences on a regular basis. It seems half the time there is an issue - items left off, spicy instead of regular, out of what you want, flavored drinks when regular is ordered, but the absolute worst is the wait in the drive thru line. It is routine for the past 3 or 4 visits for the person at the speaker to tell every car they will be with you in a little while. And it is always at least 10 - 15 minutes per car. Forget picking up an advance order in the dining room, it is often locked in the evenings even during business hours. Tonight I ordered from home on the app, drove 15 minutes to the store, only to find 4 cars in front of me. Dining room was locked, so I sat in the drive thru line at least 40 minutes. 1 item ordered on the app wasn't available. Drove home, only to find my wife's food wasn't in the bag. Drove back to the store, where I was #3 in line. Dining room was still locked. By the time I drove back home it had become over a 2 hour ordeal just to get what I paid for. The store often seems to be poorly staffed. Exterior building lights are usually turned off at night, like they really wish people wouldn't eat there. Wish granted.
An update: I got a nice response from someone (a manager?) when I did this original post saying I should give them another chance. So I went back today. Still being told to wait before asking for my order in the drive thru, even though I was the only car. Finally was able to tell them I had a mobile order. She told me they were out of mac n cheese, one of my wife's favs. I was told to park because the order wasn't ready and they would bring it out. Tick tock... got my food, checked the bag, and had to go into the store (It was unlocked!!) to get the drink and substitute side that was supposed to come with my sandwich combo. Sigh. And, the real kicker, didn't realize until I got home - I also ordered a 5 piece classic meal. I got 3 pieces of spicy,...
Read moreNever again will I order from this location. The number of health code violations I witnessed just sitting at the drive-thru window for the short time frame I was there. Then, they forgot items in our order. We had to go back. Their excuse was, "Sorry, we're busy." I wouldn't have called it busy. There was a steady flow of customers. The shift lead/manager on duty was young and probably inexperienced, so I witnessed disorganization. I worked for Popeyes in the past, so I am well aware of their service and health expectations and practices. This location is in DIRE need of retraining of their employees.
Violations witnessed:
Lack of hand-washing from employees, especially the employee at the front counter changing tasks to fill orders.
Using hand sink for uses other than hand-washing.
Employee at front counter touching clothes, not wearing gloves after touching front register and swinging tongs around with his hand. Tongs touched dirty clothes. He placed the same tongs back with other tongs that were hanging.
The manager on duty/shift lead was filling a container in the hand-washing sink that was probably being used on the line, most likely for the mashed...
