Pour House Bar and Grill — Restaurant in California

After driving by this locations multiple times, I decided to stop by for lunch real quick. Based on the name I figured it would be a typical bar with some food to keep people munching while drinking. I didn't have much expectations walking into this spot, but I disliked the fact of driving by it so many times and not giving it a chance. What a mistake I made. This spot exceeded my expectations in every way. The drinks were cold and spot on, and the food was AMAZING. I don't really remember the names of chefs but I can say Chef Lino really knows how to satisfy the hunger of an eater. The cuban sandwich was spot on. It was absolutely one of the best I have ever eaten. My dad's steak was tasty and tender as well. I wouldn't want to call this spot a bar since bars tend to have a bad reputation when it comes to the quality and taste of food. Service was great. Server, bar tender we're all very nice and helpful.

It is very loud and very difficult to hear those at your table.

Food is ok from what others at the table said. My filet was riddled with fat and was under cooked. I had cut off 30% of the filet that was fat before sending it back. The kitchen refired the same piece of meat that was now 30% less of what it should have been and presented it as a fresh meal. All sides were the same and cold. Not only poor food service, but illegal to refired meat that was served with a sauce as it can contaminate other foods being prepped.

30min after refusing the refired meal and asking for it to be removed from the bill. The manager comes to the table and says she was just made aware of the issue and offers to make it better. The entire table is done eating not much to be done...

I was recently at The Pour House on karaoke night. Everything was going fine until the bouncer thought he heard the n word rapped in song. After that, the bouncer got on stage, grabbed the mic and proclaimed he would kick everybody out if he heard that word again. After the singer told the bouncer she had skipped that word, he proceeded to argue with her and threatened to kick her entire party out. Now THIS WORD WAS NOT SAID. However, this attitude from the bouncer was completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
