Rancho's Liberty Cafe — Restaurant in California

Wow.... We recently decided to try this place out after eating here years ago and not having a pleasant experience at all, service was a joke, food was terrible and we said never again,,, we checked out the menu online recently and said let's go and see if anything has changed,, to our surprise, a very good one at that, the service was friendly and attentive and the food has definitely changed for the better, we were surprised at the portions and newer selections,, we ate our lunch and had leftovers,, loved our food and dessert and have been back again since,, trying other dishes and once again were very satisfied. Guadalupe our waitress both times we visited has been very nice and accommodating, both times we have eaten there the restaurant has been busy, which is nice to see. Apparently major changes have taken place and I am happy to say we will be back. It is always a pleasure to deal with a business that values it's customers and implements the changes that are needed to make those customers feel valued. Great food, reasonably priced and friendly service in a very relaxed family atmosphere. Thank you to the Liberty cafe for offering great service and tasty food to all of your customers....

Just moved out to this area and my co-worker suggested this place to me. So me and my husband tried it out. I had the country fried steak and eggs with country fried potatoes biscuits and gravy. It was a whole lot of food! The chicken fried steak was the best I've ever had! It was very crispy and light and airy. The gravy was super good. So now the biscuit, it also was super fluffy and good. My husband also liked his plate which was the corn beef with hash browns. Several staff members brought all of our food to the table and the food was hot! Like right off the grill hot. I like that. I don't like to eat my food luke warm or cold. How some places your food just sits and no one brings it to you. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. My husband is picky on where he eats so we've started to tell each other if we'd go and eat at a place again after we're done eating. I told him next time we will try this place pointing to another place and he said why ruin a good thing. So this will be our spot now. Compliments to the chef and staff! We had burgers and fries. I like to start with positives. The fries are exceptional. "Jammin", if you ask my buddy. That goes for the sweet potato fries as well. Good quality beef is used. Looked like it was a hand made patty. And, the wait staff was pleasant and attentive. The water tasted good and clean. The downside: burger assembly was like a blind man, with no sense of feel, put them "together". I expect a fast food joint to take no care in evenly spreading the condiments/veggies. But, not at a diner/$15 dollar burger place. Also, if you like your food hot you'd better eat fast. There were about 20 customers and everyone was wearing their winter coat. It's cold! Oh yah, my burger had no sauces whatsoever on it. Making it pretty dry and kind of bland. I don't if that was a mistake, or just the way they do it. I don't see much reason to revisit. Better than Mcd's and BK. Not as good as red Robin, 5 guys, Habit burger,...
