I live in Mobile, Alabama and I was visiting my family in Sacramento California, and I was looking for some good doughnuts and found Rich's Donuts. There were people inside seated and enjoying themselves rather early that morning, and after tasting the apple fritters, Donuts and eclairs, I understood why ! Richard's Donuts has been around for years. Great service from the owner, Crystal. Very welcoming. Her husband makes the donuts fresh daily. My favorite is the homemade scones. I highly recommend you stop on in and give it a try. You won't regret it. Also, they have a couple of old timers who sit inside and drink their coffee and chat it up with the customers....

Honestly I didn't know what to expect walking in. I was pleasently surprised by the friendliness of the staff, the other guests, and the tastiness of the donuts themselves. The staff had my order of 2 dozen donuts boxed up in less than 2 minutes and I was back out the door within a total of 3 minutes. I couldn't have asked for a better visit. I'll be back...
