@RiversEdgeFan Monday morning at 11:11am I arrived. Nothing looked palatable on the breakfast menu. Lots of options with hashbrown assortment. A whole bunch of hashbrown offerings. No biscuits and gravy. I settled for the classic burger. With Swiss cheese.
I was parched. Thirsty. In desperate need of beverage. Iced tea with lemon and H2o were ordered. I immediately finished them both before ordering the meal. Wait staff took my order and did not even offer to refill my beverages. It wasn't even busy. Tables were being cleared. Staff walked by several times. No beverage refills. Staff sat at the bar and snacked and chatted. I sat and waited quite a while before refills were made. They were finally filled AFTER my burger was delivered.
The atmosphere was hip and very well lit with natural light through many big windows. It was pretty quiet with music playing softly. The patio was large but not shaded. A couple of tables has umbrellas.
Burger was supposed to be cooked to medium. It was well done. The bun was toasted. French fries were crispy and hot.
There were three different hot sauces available at the table. That was nice.
My beverages were finished again and never refilled a third time.
I waited a long time, with empty plate in fron of me, before the check arrived.
Overall I was not impressed in the slightest. I am open to exploring local businesses instead of chain restaurants. Staff seemed distracted and were very inattentive. While glad I tried this option I will not return. I recommend trying it once. Hopefully to a better experience. You may be glad you did...
Read moreWe went on A Sunday morning the cook made my omelet crispy brown. It tasted like a dirty girll. They remade it. It wasn't crispy but still had the dirty grill taste and didn't bring fresh hasbrowns. So I only got a omelet and paid for a complete meal. After they brought the second omelet he offered to make fresh hashbrowns but my husband was already almost finished with his meal and my food would of been cold by then. They should of brought a complete meal out the second time. Took 25 minutes to get out food the first time then another 10 or 15 to get it the second time. By that time may husband was done with his food. This place is always a hit or miss. Always expect to wait at least 30 minutes or more for your food. Once you complain everyone stays away and doesn't want to help you. All I wanted was my check and a box to take home my husband's hashbrowns. I had to ask 3 times and finally get up and ask again. 2 drinks 2 meals a little over 50.00. Not...
Read moreThankfully I stumbled across this restaurant one day because it was across the street from me. It was such a great experience that I just keep going back now even though I’ve moved. First, when you walk in you’re greeted with fresh baked cookies on the counter (for free!) and there usually isn’t ever a wait. The seating is comfortable and servers have all been incredibly nice. Everything I’ve ordered is a hit and they all come in great portion sizes so if you aren’t a big eater you can share a plate or take home some leftovers! My favorites I’ve gotten here is the fried rice and the chicken and waffles Benedict. It’s also nice that they have a good selection of bottomless drinks such as coffee and soda. It’s a very homey casual diner type restaurant with mostly brunch menu items but with a variety of options to...
