Rosarito’s Mexican Food has really stepped up the plate. I’ve been eating here for over 20 years and their food has always been good, but the meal we just experienced was exceptionally delicious and filling. The fish tacos came with two pieces of fresh fish, each sized larger than most competitors, single “fish stick” tacos. The white sauce is sweet and tangy, pairing well with the crispy fish, and cabbage. Adobada taco is juicy yet not pouring out grease like the Exxon Valdez, while having a generous amount of toppings. For you cheese enchilada aficionados, they are massive mounds of dairy goodness, wrapped in fresh corn tortillas, and swimming in a bath of savory red sauce. It's a taco shop in a shopping center here next to a Subway & H&R Block. The staff have always been pleasant & considerate. A variety of typical Mexican food options & a couple specials, like the Flaming Cheeto burrito. It's usually kept pretty clean inside too. Not a lot of seating available, but it never seems too crowded.The food is decent imho & made up fresh, never have gotten a cold item intended to be hot for example. I had an issue with an order sometime back and when I was able to contact the owner through an employer up front, he was very accommodating and resolved the problem without a hitch! 👍 That kind of experience left a better impression after said issue. I have been going to the place specifically since I was young and grew up on it. This is always my go to choice for eating out but lately it has not been meeting my expectations. Just now today, the 15th of May, I went to get dinner with my mom and I asked for two shredded beef tacos instead I got a number two.
