My wife and I were passing through the little town of Ramona, and we stumbled on this little gem. Seriously the best tacos I’ve ever had and it was all because of how they make their tortillas. They are home made and very thin. Then they fry it and make the perfect tacos. And the Chorizo burrito was made with the same magical tortilla. Please tell me how you make them so thin! Next time we come back to San Diego, we’re coming back.

Great place for SoCal Mexican food. They have food for every meal, breakfast, lunch and dinner. They are open late as well. It’s s a small fast food restaurant and wouldn’t be good for parties or group dinning. They do not have a public restroom. Plenty of parking out front. Located behind the Ramona McDonald’s.

The cashier was helpful in explaining what was in a food items when asked. We got 2 bean & cheese burritos, one Baja burrito and a carne asada fries to go. It was all very good and we really liked the salsa too, the red was my favorite. A good Mexican food option in downtown Ramona.

Why I'm No Longer A Customer of Salsa After Being a Loyal Customer for 33 Years I’m not sure at what point they started hating their customers. They also nickel and dime you to death here. Having been a customer of Salsa since 1992, I can attest that the food quality and service has gradually deteriorated to the point where I will no longer go there again. The carne asada burrito is now made of cheap meat containing gristle. A month ago I stopped there on the way to the desert when it was 102 degrees and asked for a large cup of ice water to go with my burrito. The rude, young, female Gen Z cashier tried to charge me 75 cents for the cup without telling me and would only give me a 4 oz cup with no cover for free. The water dispenser is an inch away from the pink lemonade dispenser and less than an ounce of lemonade went into the cup for a second. Fast forward to 3 weeks later - I ordered a burrito and 4 oz cup of water. When I asked for a 4 oz cup of water, the same snotty cashier said to me, “I’ll give you a cup of water if you pay me for the free lemonade you took last time.” I walked out, never to return, and went to the Wendy’s next door, where they gave me a free 24 oz cup of ice water without...

$16 shrimp burrito, I would’ve been fine with it, if my appetite hadn’t been lost in the first bite when I look down to see a ton of shrimp shit veins! So gross! There seems to be a lot of shrimp in it so I was just trying to pick the poop veins out, but then I took a bite and it tasted somewhat like how a stink bug smells, I’m not trying to get sick off the meal. I couldn’t do it. I’m gonna see if my stomach feels OK in a few hours after that last bit and pick the poop out of it and eat it, but as of now, I’m good. I read reviews. It said the shrimp burrito was good so I was thinking OK this is gonna be good and yeah, there’s a lot of shrimp, but it’s too bad shrimp poop isn’t something that I enjoy, or it probably would’ve been amazing! If you don’t mind that kind of thing, then it would probably be a really good burrito for you. They don’t skimp on the shrimp at all. I was so excited, thinking wow, is gonna be a really good burrito, but I really didn’t get past the first two bites because I was too grossed out. Good thing I got a quesadilla on the side for my son and he’s just a little guy, he can share...

PRICING IS MISLEADING. Intentionally. Broh this place was pretty good in food….atleast with the tacos. Been going here since we moved up in 2021 and the final nail was the pricing difference between online and “Taco Tuesday”. I had placed a phone order and discovered I was shorted a taco order. I should have know better and checked in front of them because they be messing up the order from time to time (which I know happens). When I got home, I checked the website (bc of course I didnt grab the receipt this time) and called. When I spoke to the employee and we were going thru the order, I discovered and she said “the pricing is different online, it’s the taco Tuesday price”. The website that was updated 2 days ago has the taco order for $6.99 but I was charged $8.99. Why isn’t there a separate menu for Tuesday or an *? If the staff is aware of the online difference and laughs it off, ownership sure knows. On top of that, the guacamole comes with the taco but if you want it to the side…it’s an extra charge for...
