I absolutely never right reviews because I think everyone can have a difference of opinion as to what is good but Today I went to Starbucks and it was empty with 4 employees and there friend hanging out next to the resister at 2pm, I ordered 4 drinks of which two were done wrong. I didn't mind one but the other was a simple vanilla bean frap with extra caramel. They gave it to me with extra whip instead of extra caramel, when I told them to please fix it, they remade it with literally one drizzle of caramel. I asked them again and they began talking about me to each other while my mother and I were still there. Their friend was soo rude to me as well stating maybe I should make it myself. Then theylthr Bartsia Lee gave me a drink with almost half a bottle of caramel on purpose. I asked for a refund and there friend which said she worked there too, said she would take the drink since I didn't want it. Then they said to me "if I think I could do it I should". That is when I said I worked at Starbucks almost 20 years ago and I would never be soo rude to a customer then or now. I said I understood everyone makes mistakes but to put a 1/2 a bottle of caramel in my drink because they didn't get it right was uncalled for. The other three employees were in the back talking soo poorly about me my mother recorded it. Store #6653.
Just because I am Latina and not the typical white women that lives is Discovery Bay doesn't mean I should be treated any less than!!!

Read moreWe order here regularly because it's so close to home and on the way out of town, but the last 2 orders have been messed up and it's at the point where I guess I have to go to Safeway or drive to Brentwood. What a bummer.
Last order they used real milk in my dairy-free drink order (literally ordered from the nondairy section of the app, no customization). Today I picked up my mocha with oat milk and it clearly has no mocha sauce, and tastes like it might be real milk as well. Not sure how that's a thing but of course we are always on the way somewhere and I don't have time to stand around while they remake my drink each time.
I would hope staff could take non dairy orders more seriously as for me it's not a preference, I am nursing and can't have dairy because of my baby's allergy/sensitivity. I would hate to have an actual allergy myself and rely on them to not contaminate my order. Maybe they should have a section in the app where you can indicate an allergy so the label is more likely to grab staff's attention to...
Read moreI went in last night after driving from Stockton to Antioch (passing through); I was so happy they were still open! I went in stood at the counter and they acknowledged me with a smile; then I asked are you guys still open as I noticed the floors being cleaned. Also there were about 6 people sitting down and drinking coffee. The baristas looked at eachother and turned back to me and said uh yea I think we are closed sorry! You think? I’m already inside; there are people still sipping & reading! I wanted a chai so bad. I walked out looking back at all people still sitting and sipping but hey If they don’t wanna serve me I can’t force them. I kinda wanted to wait and watch if they would allow someone else to come inside and if they would’ve served them.
