I had the misfortune of encountering the most uncomfortable customer service at this Starbucks on January 12th, 2025, around 11 AM. There were two girls working the register—one was a tall, blonde, and fuller-figured girl, and the other was a brunette, skinny, and seemed like she couldn’t be bothered to acknowledge anyone around her. These two seemed more interested in their own little gossip session than actually doing their jobs. I had to stand there awkwardly, waiting to even be acknowledged. There was a guy working, who was at least polite enough to greet me when I walked in, but those two girls? Absolutely zero interest in helping customers.
When I finally had to say hello to get their attention, they both looked at me like I was interrupting their personal hangout. Honestly, it felt like I was invisible, and I couldn't help but feel like they think they’re too good to take orders. The attitude was condescending, with a tone that was downright dismissive. I’m all for a bad day, but when it’s clear that these girls just don’t care about their jobs, it’s a huge turn-off. If you don’t want to be there, maybe you should reconsider why you’re working in customer service.

Visiting Starbucks---domestically and internationally---alots a certain appreciation for consistency (a Nobel Laureate said "it wins"). Still learning through exploring this theme slowly while observing and writing.

Read moreThey do a great job making great drinks. However they need to improve on a couple baristas customer service, as well as their food inventory. There are two employee in particular that move as slow as snails. No matter how long the line is. Also, these two employees seem to be confused as to what they should be doing even though they've worked here for a long time. The manager and other employees are awesome and always provide great service. The only other thing is better inventory management.
