Very disappointed given the reviews I’ve seen. First I do want to say the service was very good for the most part. The rest is nothing to write home about. I ordered chips & salsa and 3 carnitas tacos. I did not get any salsa. The chips are not made by them, they are Tostitos rounds. They only give you a handful and charge more for that than a whole bag from the store. Store bought chips is always a bad sign for what you can expect the rest of your food to be. The tacos were skimpy compared to other taco trucks and cost twice as much. No real flavor, just bland. I asked for hot/spicy and if that’s what I really got, they should be embarrassed. It was more mild than the most mild dish I’ve ever had at any Mexican place. NO SPICE at all, plus who the hell serves carrots and cucumbers with tacos 🤮. If you compare this place with the taco truck in San Andreas, it fails in comparison. You get half the food for twice the prices, store bought chips compared to real Mexican tortilla chips, no spice compared to perfect hot/spice, and no flavor compared to a flavor explosion, and about 1/3 of the menu options. Will not be back. Anyone who thinks this place is good has obviously never eaten at a real taco truck before. It’s in Sonora though, so what else can you expect. Every restaurant in this town...
Read moreWe ordered 4 California burritos, 2 with asada and 2 vegetarian. No special requests except for no sour cream on 2 of them, yet each burrito order was wrong in a different way, HOW?!? The California burrito has boiled potatoes with no flavor instead of French fries. My burrito was so cold I just threw it away, but I wish I had taken a picture first to add it to this review; then you could see the so called burrito which was just a lettuce, sour cream, and boiled potato filled tortilla. Also, they only took cash even though they had all of the credit card logos posted, so we had to go find an atm because they had already started making the food at that point. Each burrito was $15 and not one of them was good. Be warned just keep driving there are other places to eat a little...
Read morePERFECT location for grab, gas and go with delicious food. Having just returned from over a month in Mexico, this place was a delicious surprise. They were more than accommodating of my specialty veggie fajita bowl request, everything was also a just right medium spice level. The carnitas and chicken tacos were also fresh and perfectly grilled. It's a bit hidden on the side of the Tractor Supply, facing the ARCO, but will definitely become part of our routine when we stop to gas up (also the cheapest gas in the area). The owner was so kind and there were a couple small tables to sit at which was a nice touch....
