Another shop and another review; but there is something unique about Gold country games. This uniqueness could stem from the the charm of the shop, but I believe it lies more in the charm of the people who own and attend it. GCG sits on a small small overlook parking lot that is well lit with many parking spaces. It has no signage lighting up the night but it does have the warm lights that shine of the logo that sits off the front door. Inside you will find a shop that has been decorated and detailed to be a den for gamers, hobbyist and gentle haven for those that visit. The shop has many different types of product it keeps in stock; Pokémon, yugioh, flesh and blood, Magic, DnD and Warhammer. You will also find board games, trading card games accessories, and painting supplies. Apart from the product the allure is found in the events that are offered; which can be easily found out about via a newsletter they print monthly and distribute to patrons, their Instagram feed or via discord. These events range from many paid events every week as well as many free events like tutorials for trading card games, painting for miniatures or board game night. To cap it off we have the few things most people want to know but either forget to ask or dont want to ask. The tables are large with covers so if you forget your playmats at least your cards wont be on bare table. The chairs are quite comfy and are able to hold both large and plus size people. There is heating and air and with the room being in a good climate and location you can be sure you have a gentle everytime. Food is sold here and not just your average junk food. You have a collection of trial mix, nuts, jerky, grain bars as well as hot foods (via microwave) and refrigerated food. There is a plentiful amount of drink options as well at the much sought after energy drinks and water. The last commodity is the bathroom as it has a certain elegance to it. There is as far as I know at the time of writing only one, but it is large. Normal toilet area with plenty of soap, towels, hot water and a pleasant smell. The last part I leave you with is location. It is right off the highway and on the same main stretch of road that leads into town where you will find a variety of food and drink open later than most places. So look no further then this shop to find all you need for your tcg and nerdy hobby needs. You will fall in love...
Read moreA new game shop that has opened up in our community and it is one of the best that I’ve seen. The owner and patrons are extremely nice and welcoming. The prices are awesome, they even have a loyalty rewards program. They ask for feedback from the community to improve the store in any way. They host regular events for people to come and enjoy. They helped bring a community together to enjoy the wonders of many games such as Magic the Gather, Pokémon, Warhammer 40,000, and much...

I'm an avid D&D player and it has tons of stuff to buy for TTTPGs. There is even a D&D room that is coming soon to host campaigns.
Big things coming from this store. 100% worth the visit; even just to hang, meet people, and play.
