Taurinos Restaurant — Restaurant in California

Had my Daughter Quinceañera there this past May. I had a gut feeling that something would go bad after I found out that the owners were having legal problems between them, but it was too late to look for a different venue, and also had paid half of the hall by then. Came the day of the event I get a call from decorating team that the hall isn't open! When in their contract it says that I have 4 hrs prior access to my event starting to do any set up or what not. By the time we reach the hall it still wasn't Open! So I lost $$ because they couldn't get in and set up! They didn't want to reimburse me since it wasn't there fault either. Called the owner and it would go straight to voice mail! Called the people I had originally made the contract with, and they said we'll if you finish the contract with the other owner I can't help You!!!! 😡 Because I have a restraining order against him! CRAZY So I called the other owner helper and she informed me that her nore her partner weren't going to be at the venue incase if I had any concerns or anything. That the owners Wife had denied them to be there in the property! By this time it was 3pm my event started at 4pm, ne t thing you know the bartender arrives, which by the way he looked mad, because he said NOBODY had informed him there was an event scheduled. 🤯 At this point we are all rushing to set up what ever we could, and to top it off since the hall wasn't open with time and cooled off it was like and oven in there guest had to keep going out because it was too hot to be in there. Oh and the bartender also charged me for toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags that were discussed and double check if they were provided and I was told that yes they were! Definitely won't be doing any more event there, and won't recommend it either! Till this point I NEVER got a calle back from Owner with apology for everything going downhill that day, very...

I'm not sure if the restaurant still exists. I believe it is a rental hall now. I was at a quinceanera and the room had 12-15 circular tables with seating for 8 people. It also has a long bar that can adequately serve alcohol and standard beverages. If you have a dj or band they can setup near an area with 4 club lights that seem to interact with the music. The staff wore black uniforms and wore latex gloves for handling food and beverages...

Omg so my co-worker has been bragging about how good the food is here. The place has been open for a few months and Im surprised how big of clientel they've been getting. The marinated pork tacos are goood, they also have a salsa bar with goodies that you can put on your taco, including the molcajete salsa. So beers are 2 dollars each after 3pm and their Karaoke starts at 4pm on friday nights....
