8-17-19. 7pm-ish. very disappointed in this particular Wendy's!! I've recently started taking this exit for gas on my commutes to and from Fresno because of its convenience. So I thought we'd stop in on this Wendy's to get some food. I've always loved Wendy's. I buy the free jr frosty key tags every year. I always almost get the 4 for 4 all the time. I like Wendy's! Well, it was me and my two kids. We decided to dine in. I ordered 2 of the 4 for 4. One jr cheeseburger deluxe and one crispy chicken sandwich. Right before they called my name for my order, I did hear them talk among themselves about "what did he order? He wanted crispy chicken sandwich." I didnt pay attention to it. We got our order and we started to eat. I unwrapped the crispy chicken sandwich and took a bite. The chicken patty was dry and hard. So I went up to the cashier. A lady asked if I had been helped. I politely told her, "I HATE TO DO THIS, BUT THIS PATTY IS DRY AND HARD." she was courteous and asked if I would like a frosty while I waited for them to make me a new sandwich. I said no thank you. She told me it would take a few minutes to cook up a fresh chicken patty for me and that they'll bring it up to me when finished. So I said ok. I also asked her if she wanted the sandwich I had. She took it and she said she was going to show the employees. So I'm assuming she might be their shift supervisor?? So I went back to finish eating with my kids. We got done eating and moved up closer to the counter. We just waited and waited and waited. 5 minutes passed. 10 minutes passed. Customers came and gone. 15 minutes came and gone. There were at least 4 workers there and we were sitting at the front table and I was standing up just waiting. 20 minutes came and went. So I went up to the counter and told the gentleman that I had been waiting over 20 minutes already. He quickly apologized and made a large cup of frosty and offered it to me. I said it was ok and no thanks. He apologized again and said that 9 out of 10 times they more likely forgot about it. Then he quickly told the back person that I was "the guy" that wanted the crispy chicken sandwich. Then he got a sandwich really quick and handed it to me.
I have a feeling that what they discussed before calling out my order was that, they probably had one old dry chicken patty left only. And they were deciding if they should give it to me or not, instead of making new fresh patties. I guess somebody didnt do their job.
I'm not writing this review because I like to bash people or places. I like Wendy's! I call poor customer service when I see it. I work with customers on a daily basis. I know you can get caught up with all the work during a rush and all, but I was standing right in front of them waiting. Customers came and gone. Did the lady not tell them to make me a new sandwich??? How do you miss the guy that was standing patiently in front of you for over 20 minutes?? Some people might ask, "why didnt you say something earlier?" My answer is, "why do I have to?" It wasn't me that screwed up. Sometimes I wish I was a mystery shopper.
So if there are supervisors, managers or auditors reading this, I hope you guys can help improve this store. Not everyone that write reviews is as lenient as...
Read moreJust stopped here (22:32, 3/6) in my big rig, and called from the Pilot across the street (as they can accommodate the size of my vehicle). I spoke with the manager on duty, asking if I can place an order over the phone, due to the height restrictions of their drive-through. I was told they "only take large orders over the phone" and "there's not a long line, you can just come in and order. "
This, as an example of 'customer service', baffled me, but I'd been driving for 13 hours, and I was (am) tired and hungry. So I complied, heading across the parking lot.
When I arrived, the dining room doors were locked, being past 10:30 pm, so how did they expect me to "come in and order"?
Getting no answer at the door, I walked around and inquired at the drive-through window. The kid there refused to communicate with me, stating over and over that they're "only taking drive-through orders".
At this point, I asked to speak with the same manager I spoke with on the phone. A different individual appeared at the window, immediately advising that they were closed and only taking drive-through orders. I expressed that I knew this, and told the manager I was the one in the rig (that wouldn't fit through his drive-through), that had called, and been told to come in and order. The manager again stated that they were only taking drive-through orders.
At this point I was frustrated, the manager still refusing to communicate with me, but still hungry, and I found someone in the parking lot that was willing to take me through the drive-through for five bucks.

Correct me if I’m wrong but baked potatoes are suppose to be white and kind of fluffy with little to no smell. I don’t know what the people that work here eat but that potatoe was either bad from the start or way over cooked . Also it probably should of been thrown in the garbage hours before I ordered a potatoe. Like seriously people where is quality at . Do you not even care about the people you serve ? I’d fire every last person who handled that potatoe because there is no excuse for laziness. Btw I use to work at Wendy’s and we had higher standards , we didn’t send out rotten over cooked or low quality food. I made 5.35 hr back then. Makes me wonder how can anyone pay an employee over 13.00 hr to put out such junk. If fast food workers ask for more money they need to give great service and quality with it. This is not the first time I’ve had to throw a potatoe away from this store but this was the worst one . Won’t be patronizing this...
